You are correct. I am not a photographer as I stated to another member. I just enjoy taking photos. With this pandemic my wife and I rarely get out. But I simply love this camera. I just purchased that book on my Kindle.

That did it! Boy oh boy did that make me feel good. Now I have to find out all of these icons around the screen. I am not a photographer, I just like to take photos. I've always been good at seeing in my mind what would make a good photo. I shoot auto. This camera does a good job for it. Thank you so much.

You are correct! I meant 1.5 feet. What I can't understand is not the screen shows nothing but data and not the scene I at which I have the camera pointed. It wasn't doing that earlier. I did watch a YouTube video and made some changes. I sure hope you are right. Thanks for replying.

I dropped my Sony RX 10 III on the carpet and honestly I don't know if it is broker or not. It seemed to be taking photos on except there is the Flower, A rectangle and hand waving showing on the screen. I watched a video on YouTube trying to get rid of what I never noticed before. Now the screen doesn't show the scene I am trying to take a photo of. It is all camera information, but no photo. I can see through the viewfinder fine and it takes photos looking through the viewfinder. It didn't drop more than 1.5" onto our carpet. I got it out to take a photo of snow and small drop of hail. First time in 23 years we had seen any. Help would be much appreciated. Gregger

I live in Surprise, AZ and have a cloud photo as my desktop background. This is excellent and you are correct we haven't seen many lately. I doubt it will get any better with the dry summer expected.

This was a highway photo taken one February when I was in Lofoten. The week I was there, every morning we woke up to fresh snow on the ground.

Great Photo! I haven't seen snow for over 23 years. I have a friends that didn't see snow until he was fifty years old.

Beautiful painting. I bit to much over editing for my tastes. Still beautiful.

The first 5 were all found on my Missouri day trips. All except #5 were shot digitally.
6&7 were both shot out west, #5 in Utah and #6 in Wyoming.

Thank you for posting these beautiful photos. I have always enjoyed photos of old country homes and barns. I try to imagine the history of each.

These are simply amazing! Not only from a photography point, but honestly I can’t ever remember seeing what the face of a dragonfly looked like.

Don't give up! I am 78 with 7 cancer related surgeries under my belt. Yes I am not as strong nor as sharp as I used to be. I shoot in jpeg now because I don't have time to fiddle with my shots. Makes me shoot better, because I have to really look before I shoot. It is wonderful that you are doing that website, but don't let it take the joy out of what you love. Good luck with it, which ever you choose. Enjoy this wonderful site and all the pictures.

You most certainly are to be admired! God's Speed with such marvelous enthusiasm.

I always wonder about the history of old structures such as these. Who lived in them, what was their life like, etc. I am presently reading a book about two families living about one half mile apart on the prairie and their trials they are going through.
