There are plenty of adapters to go from USB-C to USB-A and vice versa.
Been a while since I posted anything. I have moved to be closer to children and due to back problems am getting around on an electric powered wheel chair. My world has grown a bit smaller but I am out and about with my camera once again. I took this picture looking up at the magnolia flower an a clear day with the sun high in the sky behind me. I stopped down about 5 EV to get the dark sky and keep the flower from be a flat white nondescript image. Adjusted the whites and blacks to taste. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I heard the MBs for the first time in a friends apartment in Boston where I was an undergraduate engineering student. I was blown away by "Tuesday Afternoon"and "Nights in white Satin". The entire album is a unique piece of musical art. Pinder was the cornerstone on the MBs and was sorely missed when he left and went with Paul McCarthy and Wings. The MBs have been on my play list first on my reel to reel, then cassette player and finally on my iPhone. My son has my vinyl collection and I have the CDs and digital versions. The art on their album covers is worthy of framing and hanging on the wall. After all these years (I am 77) I still listen to the MBs at least once a week. I wish I could photograph the images their music produces in my mind. If only I could paint! Their music is unique and I suspect will live on for a long time. Younger generations are discovering the MBs and are blown away by "Days of Future Passed".
It is a thing of beauty. As a one time aeronautical engineer I can only imagine the the complex aerodynamics at work to deliver this beautiful image. Nice capture.
The road most traveled. Nice group of shots. Certainty have a very changing landscape.
I hope you were backed up to the cloud or to HD's that were not damaged. Many external HDs are sealed so they might be okay if you had them. Hardware can always be replace but the loss is heart wrenching and takes some time for a recovery. I offer you the experience of taking a bit of time to mourn the loss but to start rebuilding your life as soon as you are able. Please update us as often as necessary as there are many sympathetic souls here to listen and offer ant assistance we can.
I had that lens for about 6 years before I went to a smaller lighter system because of back problems. It was the best lens I owned in the Nikon system. It was tack sharp, great color and contrast and beautiful bokeh. The only draw backs where it is heavy and sometimes the autofocus system hunted. All in all I loved that lens as it always lived on one of my Nikon bodies. One of the best macro lenses around based on my experience.
Seems like forever. My guess is the end of 2021 or beginning of 2022
Anytime. Music has been important especially in this time of COVID and social distancing.
For sure all of them are great and are on my perpetual playlist.
Don't forget Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, I think it is brilliant .
Great images. I am particularly taken with the 1st, 3rd, and 5th shots and think the 5th is a real standout. Great composure and use of depth of field. The last one should be printed and put on the wall. Nice job.
