First, let me thank those who responded to my query and for the helpful sites and tips to follow.
Since joining I have had an accident and am dealing with the complications. Once I get on top of things I willl get on the ball again.
At least I now know how to specll Canon!!
Thank you all
Very nice!
I enjoyed doing it. Hope to get back into it again once I master a couple of photography tasks.
And just where do your comments fit into this conversation?
Like I said, I know absolutely nothing about this camera; what a learning experience this is going to be. I didn't even know it had a recording on it, lol.
They say you are never too old to learn, well, I just might be the proof of that. I just turned 70 decided I would like to try a little photography, am glad I found this very friendly site and think with the help of people like yourself I will be able to show a flower or a bug before too long.
Main thing is......I'M HAVING FUN.
:P
Sounds good to me.
Thank you
Paper tole is i.e. I have a postcard I really like; I make 5 copies of said card and, using one as the base, I cut out parts from each cardto "build" the picture like 3D.
Alas, boo hoo, I did something wrong. I did get the settings but when I tried to take the picture a total of nothing and when I turned off my Canon I got a message "Recording" ????????? I will keep trying.
Thanks for thinking of me
To all those who have responded, I thank you. I will definitely put into practice what you have suggested. Alas, there was no Manual but I did find one on line.
What a friendly place.....thank you again!
I stand corrected. Thank you.
HI: It's a Cannon EOS Rebel Xsi. I purchased it used and thought I would try to shoot the big moon tonight, (weather permitting, lol.) I have received a few hints from the forum on settings to get me going, so hopefully, with a little trial and error, I might have something to brag about soon.
Thank you for your response.
Thank you very much. I will try that. Hopefully the clouds will blow away to enable the view.
Greatly appreciated. I have put these sites in my favourites and will definitely peruse them.
Thank you, appreciate the welcome
Can anyone suggest settings for me to get a decent picture of the Super Moon tonight. I just got my cannon EOS Rebel xsi 450D. An older camera but seems to be in great shape. Any help would be appreciated to help me get a "jumpstart'
