Bernie, being the loving and thoughtful person he is, alway looking out for his loving wife - will be missed at the bank. As you may have already surmised, he and his loving wife were spared death that day - obviously the robber missed seeing his raised hand.
Unfortunately Bernie has had the misfortune of occasionally putting his foot in his mouth at the most inopportune time. Bernie survived the bandit but did not survive the trauma of that day totally unscathed. Unfortunately overnight, he developed a severe vocal cord obstruction that gives him trouble talking and swallowing. His wife has instructed him to raise his hand to indicate when he wants to communicating. I wonder how that will work at the bank next time?

Sounds like you got the cart before the horse syndrome. I know what your saying, I've done it myself. You plan on doing something and you get ahead of yourself so to speak.

First....What version of Windows are you running?
Second...Have you entered the installation key yet? If not click on License in that window that shows Installation successful and see what is there. You may just need to enter the key there.

Can you open Photoshop at all?

Answer this before you uninstall.

I am using a Mac, not a PC. I entered this #
1045-0410-5403-3188-5429-0639 for Mac. This is the number (assuming this is the correct key) I use to download - found on the first page, what other info in necessary for activation? Specifically what is needed for activation if not this # - please state the info so all can see.
Assuming this is the key you are referring to - if this is not the correct info - please state the correct activation key - please be specific as the above # is the only # I see for the Mac on the first page. The first # is for a PC - the second is for the Mac. What else does one need to activate the program.

Since the program has been downloaded to the Mac, just what is the procedure to uninstall this program if so needed? Please be specific as to steps used for uninstalling. As of right now, I do not see an uninstall folder. Thanks

Open Photoshop, Click Help, Click Activate.

As you can see, installation was successful - but how to proceed from here is a bit murky. I think my problem may be that I never received an "activate page" upon closing the installation successful page. Why, I don't know. When I click on the Adobe Photo …2.mpkg (arrow), I get the install adobe photoshop CS2 page again (as shown). Kinda like going around in a circle - no end in sight.

This brings me to this: I did not see an uninstall folder (how to uninstall CS2) - would someone that knows the procedure, exactly how the uninstall procedure is done, please drop me a PM or show instructions for it on the forum. If I can't get this to work correctly, removing it is the next step. Any ideas as to how to proceed would be useful.

If I didn't show or didn't do something to make it activate, please advise. I really would like to make it work but if this can't be accomplished, well then I'd just as soon remove it.

Hi everyone, I've noticed in the discussions that there are numerous folks who say they can't afford the expense of Photoshop. So, I thought I would pass along the info that Adobe has a free version, Photoshop CS2. It isn't the latest and greatest, but it does have layers, layer mask, and a good selection of tools. I downloaded it and find it does a very good job of post processing. Link below.

http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3689-adobe-photoshop-cs2.html

I successfully installed CS2 on my Mac with 10.6.8 OS . instructions said - follow on-screen instructions - when you receive a message stating that the installation was successful (it did say the download was successful and I clicked finish), click finish. You may be prompted to activate your copy of Photoshop.

I successfully finished the install but did not see a prompt to do an activation - so what do I do now, what is my next step? Is there something within the info below that I need to click on to activate the download. Please advise. I'm stuck at this point until I know how to proceed.
See the screen shot of the download info for CS2:

Hi Debbie,

If I understand you, you are referring to the window glass that you see the Christmas tree and lights through from the outside of the home. correct? If that is correct, one would expect to see some reflection from the tree lights in this window. However, if your referring to a reflection in the other glass window to the right of the tree, then, yes it would be possible to remove the reflected light using PP. I used the clone stamp to go over the light reflection in the window to the right so it looks dark in the upper right quadrant (I used a version of Elements to accomplish this). You can clone the entire area out or do as you see fit but I wouldn't clone out the entire right side window as I can see the chair, lamp, flooring, and spare string of lights on the floor inside the home - which makes for a normal scene.
Do you have any type of PP (post processing) equipment to use on you photo, if not, there are many free and pay sources. Let know how you you resolved your problem.

Once back in the' 70's in NYC, there was a Seaman's club run by the Catholic Church by Lexington and Park Ave. it was called Cardinal Spellman's. One afternoon while a few of us were chomping on some snacks, in walks Rodney Dangerfield and Ed Sullivan! This was a small place no big auditorium. I shook Mr. Dangerfield's hand and just started laughing! He hadn't said two words! Nicest guy you ever want to meet! So he and Ed Sullivan put on a small show for us and we much appreciated it. I may stand corrected here, but I believe Ed Sullivan died a couple weeks later. If so we may have witnessed his last show. But as I say the memory can get muddled.

One reason why I and many other operators or radio controlled aircraft do not like to call them "drones" is because of the military implications. Radio controlled aircraft have been a wonderful hobby for many many years (60 or more). It is perfectly legal to fly them below 400 feet and more than 5 miles from an airport. What has changed in the past 3 years is the following:

1. Advent of high quality miniature cameras allowing for aerial photography and the ability of "first person view", which is to say the ability to use a screen or goggles to see what the aircraft sees, and to pilot it as if you were actually in it while flying it.

2. Advent of multi rotor helicopters that are easy to fly. Keeping the rotational rate of the rotors of multi rotor helicopter properly synchronized was a difficult problem until the advent of micro controllers made it automatic. Adding GPS and accelerometer capabilities to these craft made them stable enough to enable excellent photography.

3. Unknown to most people is the fact that the cameras carried by these devices use very wide angle lenses, and this makes "spying" into bedrooms pretty useless.

4 The ability to take good aerial photos of landscapes has opened up many commercial possibilities. Unfortunately, Federal law forbids commercial use of radio controlled aircraft, while allowing for hobby use of them. This means I cannot take a picture of my neighbor's house and sell it to him. I can, however, give him this picture. One of the proposed regulations is to require a "regular" pilot's license to fly one of these toys commercially while still allowing hobby use. All this is, of course, absurd.

4. The "Hobby" quadcopters typically will respond to signals at most .5 to 1 mile away. These devices are so small that at that distance you cannot see them to fly them safely. Most of us fly ours a few hundred yards away max. There will always be reckless users. Should we ban automobiles because there are a few reckless users? We have laws governing safe use of automobiles. Similar laws can be developed for radio controlled aircraft as well while allowing for commercial use.

Sounds like you have good info on "Radio controlled aircraft". Do you or anyone else know how large "one unit"(one radio controlled aircraft) needs to be to show up on aviation radar?
I have seen (on you tube) how a squadron of "radio controlled aircraft" working together as one unit - spaced out from one another like a squadron - several yards wide and deep.
Any idea as to how a squadron of these units might show up on radar (being small but yet spread out - assuming units are in formation and spread many feet across? Being small (even as a squadron) can radar see this as a blip on a radar screen or look right through it like it wasn't there?

How large does an object (drone) have to be so it (one drone of unknown size) or a select group of drones (of unknown size) are visible on radar - after reading many of the responses here, I wonder if one or possibly several drones (as a group) could be launched as a weapon - if birds (one bird or a flock) are known to present problems with flying aircraft why not one or more drones? Have not seen this addressed here or in the media.
If we are to look at the various good potential of drones as shown with OP, then we also need to think and look at the possible bad potential of drones. I don't have a dog in this fight at present, I'd like to know a lot more before I lean one way or the other.
Question: How high (vertically in feet) can a drone fly (legally or not) using it's controller and how far of a distance (signal strength?) can a drone be operated using it's controller? Can another remote take over a flying drone to move it along to its final destination (assuming remotes have the same signal setup)? Just some of the questions I have regarding drones.

I see a couple of ways to resolve this:
1) If your able and willing, use a empty paper soda cup along with it's lid (use them together as a scoop and vessel holder for spider transport), scoop the little guy up and deposit humanely outside.
2) Use a newspaper to scoop him up and deposit outside. I've used this method more than once - efficient and straight forward.
3) If you can't or are afraid to do this, have your husband, neighbor, son, or significant other do it for you.
As far as a bite goes, just don't let it get to you and you'll be fine.

Thanks djtravels. I'm quite pleased with the final image as is. Here is an earlier iteration of the photo with just a bit more color in it.

I really like your earlier iteration of your photo, also the lighter version. I like the light colored one a bit less but not that much less. Love the very soft look, really nice. Well done. Congratulations on having a very lovely photo.
