Is that the one with the Moray eel lurking in its depths? Beautiful rocks and reflecting pool and super shots, Earl.

Hi Dixiegirl those eels are so true. In my younger days we used to drive 5 hours on a weekend to surf at this spot. This pool is fresh water and so after a day surfing we used the pool as a means to wash the salt off. At sunset these monster eels would then surface and scare the tripe out of anyone who was still in the pool.

I was at a social event in Memphis TN. I was introduced to one the weirdest creature I have seen in a long time...

An older trophy wife botoxed and altered to a point I did not think it was possible other than in Hollywood...

Worse, she did not seem to be all there...

Just watched this Docu it explains how and why this happens. Very interesting indeed

You've all noticed those little ad boxes that appear within the UHH daily digest emails. I'm curious as to why they seem to be geared to me. For instance, some will be from websites I've visited recently and others are from websites that are connected with the work I do. Who is controlling this? Does anybody know?

Marriage:

At St. Peter's Catholic Church in Adelaide, they have weekly husbands'
Marriage seminars.

At the session last week, the priest asked Giuseppe, who said he was
approaching his 50th wedding anniversary, to take a few minutes and
share some insight into how he had managed to stay married to the same woman all these years.

Giuseppe replied to the assembled husbands, 'Wella, I'va tried to
treat her nicea, spenda da money on her, but besta of all is, I tooka
her to Italy for the 25th anniversary!'

The priest responded, 'Giuseppe, you are an amazing inspiration to all
the husbands here! Please tell us what you are planning for your wife
for your 50th anniversary?'

Giuseppe proudly replied, " I gonna go pick her up."

Linda thank you so much for that explanation. I've had this camera for just on a year and didn't think about using this function. This will be my go to set up when I go birding. ( No no the human kind) The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired IMVHO.

Welcome! You caught some cute birds here :)

Have you tried a faster shutter speed, or the HQ burst mode? (SCN knob on top, then func button on back, scroll to HQ) Either of those should help with sharper images of fast-moving critters.

Hope someone has a solution to this problem. My daughter bought a new Nikon P500 a couple of years ago and it worked fine, she took about 2-3000 pics. Then the novelty wore of and she didn't use it for a while but when she got the bug again and wanted to take some pictures it would not take photos. So when I turned up to visit her she asked if I could fix the problem. Which I have narrowed down to it just wont focus. it will take video but not photos. I've reset the settings to factory default but still no go.
Her town doesn't have a dedicated camera store just a electrical store from which she bought the camera. So I'm hoping the collective UHH team will have a solution.
