It's a great lens, isn't it? Amazing how much closer I can get and how much crisper the shots are!
I would not have known this was at such a high ISO! The shot looks very clear and the pileated is show in such great detail. Well done, in my opinion!
Great shots - love that vivid eye ring!!
I just found this great site and looking forward to participating and learning. My primary interest is nature photography, but also interested in waterscapes and macro. Lots of bird photos because I've recently become involved in birding.
I own a Nikon D90 and a D3100, the D90 being my primary body. I have a Nikkor 18-200 f3.5 lens which is what I use for macro and closer shots. I recently purchases a Tamron 200-500 which I use for birding and LOVE. I have a couple of other lenses but don't use them as often. Also an assortment of different filters (ND, close-up, etc) that I drag out from time to time.
I am looking forward to being part of this community and learning from all of you!
