High ISO shot of a woodpecker. Tell me what you think.

I was out birding early this morning. It was 7:30 AM and heavily overcast when I came upon this Pileated Woodpecker. I took some shots 1/640 sec, f/5.6 at ISO 3200. I have done some noise reduction and sharpening and the results aren't half bad. I wouldn't do a large print because the noise starts to get a bit much but an 8 1/2x11 might be OK. What do you think?
Female Pileated Woodpecker.
I think it's very good! I can't believe it's ISO 3200. Whatever program you used is a very good one. I do not detect noise at all.

I think it's darn good, amazing what can be done at high ISO's these days. Great shot. 8-)
I like it a lot' I'm envious I've only seen a Pileated pecker once when I didn't have a camera.
Great catch, thanks for sharing.

You did good! Seeing a Pileated Woodpecker for the first time many years ago sparked my interest in birding which continues
to this day.
I would not have known this was at such a high ISO! The shot looks very clear and the pileated is show in such great detail. Well done, in my opinion!
Very neat..My son & I are birders... He's a wildlife ecologist birds are his thing. Every year we go to Monhegan island here in ME for the migration in May....I'm hoping to get some fun pics this year when we go....Thanks for sharing...
I think this shot turned out well. It's not perfect but it works...
Now I know the name of the bird I saw in the woods. I was 10 feet from one of those but alas, no camera. They are very large birds!!! Great shot.
