anyone have wide angle lens they are thinking of selling Sigma or canon 10-20mm 8-16mm 24mm wanting to buy wide angle

I have $350 to spend on tripod. what are your suggestions. also pan head, or ball head. I take manly pictures not much video. Thank you for your input.Dennis

this was on Cambridge page. It is a DVD by Vince Wallace...Learn and Master Photography. let me know if its worth the $149.00

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my post. I really think that saving a little more for macro lens is really the correct way to do things.after reading the article on macro tubes and close up filters the negative really out weight the proper way to take macro.Dennis P.S.thanks for the cambridge link

I will try this again....I have a canon 50mm with a reproduction ratio of 1:6.6 and a magnification of 0.15 in order to get as close to a 1:1 ratio would I then use 6x close up lens filter.? Thank you

Before I assume anything need to ask how to figure amount of magnification needed to bring the ratio as close to 1:1. I have a canon 50mm that has a reproduction Ratio of 1 to 6.6. would I have to add 6x to get close to 1:1. Thank you all very much

I do not want to spend 500 dollars so please if you can recommend a stable tripod.I spent 50 on one and it is very unstable and the head is cheaply made very difficult to level. in the ad said it was better than tripods costing 4 times as much. took there word for it, now all it's good for is to take pictures of it....Thank you Dennis
