Thanks grandmama! I know about the shopping thing too. I was busy sewing and buying, and sewing and buying. Yesterday I even bought props for pictures! I'll be posting some soon.

Julie,
If you are like I was...Your BRAIN will turn to putty over this beautiful first GRANDCHILD! I could go nowhere without purchasing a special gift for my grandbaby. By the time I had 13 of those little SWEETHEARTS and now I have 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN and another on-the-way I cannot afford that expense any more. One gift for each at birth is enough. I have finally gained my brain back.

BLESS YOU & YOURS, and just ENJOY them and LOVE 'EM to death!

Thanks everyone. She is SO sweet! A little lovey cuddler. She has her mumma's nose and mouth and her daddy's eyes. The best feeling in the world to have her peacefully sleeping on my chest, ear over my heart, listening to the rhythm of love!

Same for me. I have never seen a squirrel eat a mushroom. In this particular instance, I was hiking alone along a trail above 10,000 ft. I watched him pluck it from the ground and scamper up the tree with it. He consumed the entire thing in about one minute. I wish I was as sure of my mushroom identification as he is!

Maybe there are some mycologists among the UHH members who could enlighten us.

Love #2. A rare capture. You don't think of or see a squirrel eating mushrooms very often. Or for the first time for me. Thanks for sharing!

As if the change in temperature and color weren't enough, one only has to look at these two fellows stuffing themselves to know that winter is fast approaching.

I really like it. It has emotion. One thing though, is there a way you can soften the light effect a little? Seems like skin tone could be a little richer. It feels a little washed out where the light hits. It would be perfection then!/

I took these shots in Wells Next the Sea harbour, Norfolk UK in bright December sunshine.
The seal was just off shore and quite oblivious to the people taking his photograph.
A photo agency spotted my post on Flickr and sold the photos around the world to newspapers and magazines. It didn't make me a fortune but I enjoyed the 15 minutes of fame.
Hope they bring a smile to your face.
