Merry Christmas Jerry, and a very safe Holiday to everyone at UHH, from Elizabeth (LWOPP) & Tom (Swampfox). We have been "out of the picture" for awhile. Just after our October 11th Wedding & Honeymoon at The Outer Banks, about two weeks later, I began having a few symptoms and scheduled a doctor appointment, and was unfortunately diagnosed with a tumor. I had surgery December 5th, and had three more tests this week to see if I will need any further surgery (which is predicted) but we will know more when we meet with the surgeon on Thursday, December 27th. Asking for prayers and requesting that everyone stay close to your loved ones & families, cause you never know what each day might bring, or take away. Appreciate every moment that God allows us on this beautiful planet. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Holidays full of peace and love...
Artsmith, Elizabeth & I will be remembering you in our daily prayers and hoping for your wife's recovery very soon.
When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.
True love is - putting up with each others nonsense.
You can truly be in Love with someone - then you have to learn to live with them. Just a few thoughts...
Thanks Silverhawk for all the great links! Woodland School of Photography that I attended back in the 70's is/was located on Route 60 just down the road from The Greenbrier. Also I wasn't aware that you are a West Virginian - me too. Grew up in Huntington, and moved to the Carolinas in 1980 (Sure miss those mountains). White Sulphur Springs is beautiful and I made some fantastic memories while attending Woodland and captured some timeless photos in those mountains (back in the good old film days). Thank you once again for your posts & links, it is priceless to be reminded of home, once again
Excellent photo showing true camouflage the way Mother Nature intended with this leopard, outstanding shot
Fantastic shots Molly, great lighting and clear as a bell !
My heart goes out to you Dave, as I have been there. Both sets of my grand-parents suffered from the disease, and my mom was in the beginning stages. Although my words may not be of much comfort, my thoughts and prayers will be daily, for you, your mother, and family.
Thank you for these great memories! Still laughing!
As we are getting ready to leave in a few moments to exchange our vows, I just wanted to say thank you to each and everyone for all of your wishes and expressions to us. We are very happy and hope that each of you share today and tomorrow and the beauty that life gives us everyday. Thank you once again, now it's time to get on the road & get it done!
With our love and very best
Elizabeth & Tom
Outstanding & beautiful series of Autumn. Love #1 as I'm a Waterfowl Fanatic. Really nice photos
Tomorrow, Elizabeth & I will be getting married. It took us both a "lifetime" it seems, to find each other. Life is good and we have learned to appreciate every day, and we are blessed to be given the gift of sharing our lives together. We will be spending our honeymoon at The Outer Banks, with love in our hearts, cameras in hand and acting just like a couple of crazy kids! Thank you all here at UHH for giving us a place to share our love of photography and we will be posting some of our most memorable moments when we return. With the kindest, most sincere regards to everyone, see you soon and thank you once again

Absolutely beautiful series and love the results of your new D600! Always waiting to see more of your photos...
Thank you Swampfox. Just corrected the post to avoid misunderstanding. I took these with my D7000. Sorry, I should have mentioned it in the post earlier.
It is the eyes, the heart, and the visions of the photographer that capture what you see - no matter which camera that you have in your hand, and you are most definitely a very skilled artist
Outstanding quality and beautiful photos Bret

jwgir, check out the camo camera bags at Just Camo.com. Just a suggestion. When I first saw them, I ordered two, one for Elizabeth & mine. Great construction, lots of room, and not a bad price at $ 49.95 8-)
