I was going to hire you for my editor but if you are not going to invite us to your private gallery showing, I've changed my mind.
By the way is it, Speed Graflex or Speed Grafics? I'm getting to old to remember... or care.

I am not responding to this, the poster spelled "Hasselblad" wrong, I shutter to think how upset the photo Gods are with that...and yes misspelling Leica, would have been as bad...

Joso/3, you really should have 'shudder'ed to think...the shutter is the device in your camera. the SHUDDER is what you do when someone causes you to shake all over!

you keep writing my logo wrong, and you will not get an invite to my private gallery... now stop it....

I don't know if you noticed, Mr. Chapjohn, but your picture is kattie-wampus sideways, and I'm getting a kink in my neck trying to see it. Not that it matters a whole lot one way or the other, I just didn't know if you knew your picture is kattie-wampus sideways. Some people in this forum might get the idea that you're not on the level. And you know what not being on the level does to sun-set horizons in the background.

Not being level, leaving in the date, side ways posting, object in the way and everything that constitutes a less that acceptable photograph, will get more attention then you best work...

and you thought you were on a photosite, think again.

I am thinking you may want to include more of the car in your presentation, so the viewers can see what the entire car looks like. some people might not know that one of your photos is from the rear end of a "70" Dodge Charger.

really like the Porsche shot...nice click...

just a suggestion.

good point. if you have sen any of the few paintings he did they aren't horrible but you get such a spooky feeling from them. if only he had been accepted to art school, if only john wilkes booth had missed, if only jfk had backed the bay of pigs etc. by the way i wanted to ask about your avatar. a really nice shot but i get a russian feel to it like you are a political commisar about to lead a charge att stalingrad. my mind works in very quirky ways sometimes. also wanted to say enjoy reading your posts, and you do give out good info

I am in the process of making a wide angle camera to use 4x5 inch negatives. The 65mm f5.6 lens from Schneider (a Super Angulon) should produce some real shar images. Its fixed focus and the finished camera will be made from ebony. I have a sheet film back and ground glass screen. I will show some shots when its finished.

do you know the formula for the mm of that lens to focal plane of the film? and how are you just going to expose the film? with a cap on the front of the lens? as this does not look like it has a shutter.

she has removed the EXIF data from all her images, God know why?

Casting stones? <giggle> I did NOT remove the EXIF data (silly feller) because I wouldn't even begin to know HOW to do that! <Laf'n>

I am not casting stones, I was just letting him know you are not letting people see your camera EXIF...you may have privacy issues with people looking at the fact you shoot in auto mode. lol...

The art world turn down Hilter's art work, said he was not good enough, if only someone had known to say "I like it"... and paid the few marks for it, he would have become a struggles artist...

I find it also of great interest that most art is critiqued by those looking to sell it, or can afford to buy it, but it is created by those who struggle...

I am going to critique your insight, on others critiquing your critiques.

That is a system overload, I will need some time on this one...

Here is the next shot from the series. It shows that the feathers are white on the ends. This was the first time I ever captured a turkey in flight and I want to make a good print.

Bingo... that cleared up my thoughts... Great image...

picasa is not the tool for sharpening, it adds what is known as artifacts, which gives it a highlighted grain look.
I would use another program to sharpen your photos.
to me this does not need sharpening, it does need a color cast correction, it has a blue color cast.
a magenta filter in a layers mask would work. maybe someone will give it a try.
