Not sure why either... I tried 3 lens... sigma 24-70, sigma 150-500, and canon 18-55, all the same, on the T3i, they are fine...

lol... I already gave up on the 7Ti, sent it back yesterday, I am leaning towards the 80d, but still looking, do not want full frame, and want to stick with canon, I have a sigma 24-70 and 150-500 that I mainly use on my T3i, and love them both, and have no problem with the lens. I tried them both on the T7i, as well as a couple kit lens, and was just not satisfied with the T7i. Funny thing, in my mind I was thinking the 80d, but had the T1i, then the T3i, and love them, so I thought the T7i would be great.... I just was not happy with the results. So I am thinking about the 80d, hoping if I choose this one, it's the right one... lol

I shoot a lot of wildlife, landscapes, and a few portraits, I am trying to keep my budget under $1000. I am looking at the 80d.

I think too that I may have outgrown the T3i, I am also looking at the 80d.

I will look into the "M" cameras, however at this point, I am leaning towards the 80d

My T3i is for the most part very clear and sharp, truthfully , I found it better than the T7i, But it is getting old, and although it still works good, I want to upgrade, and it does have a slight problem, that giving the age of the camera, not sure if I want to spend to get it fixed... It for some reason won't focus... when I look through the viewfinder, it's all blurry, when I take the pic though, it comes out fine, still better than the T7i, I am thinking about the 80d.

I am thinking about the 80d, I have the T3i, I want to upgrade, I got the T7i, and don't like it. I am sending it back, but was now thinking of the 80d, are the pics nice and sharp? I use Sigma lens 24-70 and sigma 150-500. I shoot a little of everything, wildlife, portraits, landscapes. Thanks

I just recently, (last week) bought the t7i, and I hate it, I have the T3i, love it, so I thought I would upgrade, and got the T7i, my T3i pics come out way better. but the T3i is having a few other problems, so I think it's time to upgrade, and now I am not sure which to get? I am sending the T7i back tomorrow.

hello, I follow a lot, but not very often post anything... lol. but, I have a Canon T3i, and would like to upgrade, I purchased the Canon T7i, and don't like it, it is not as sharp as my T3i, so I am going to return it, but would like views on other canon cameras out there. I have EF and EF-s lens, so need to stick with Canon. So.... I'll be waiting for responses, Thanks a lot for all your help, Love the group.

Ok, so I'm planning on taking the grandkids on a Disney Cruise in Oct, should I bring my T3i with one or several lens, ( sigma 24-70, canon 55-250, 18-55, I do have a couple other lens, but don't think they would be right for this, or I was thinking about buying a canon sx50, what are your thoughts?

Thank you all for your inputs on this, it was all very helpful, and some things I didn't even think about, Still unsure, but I am thinking I am going to get the sx50 (after taxes :) ) and hopfully leave the T3i at home, that is the plan today, Thank you all again.

I have to agree, vacations are for fun and photo memories.
Too often have lugged equipment that diminishes the enjoyment of the trip. Weight, security concerns about the equipment. If you bring your equipment, secure it and set specific times for photo shoots. For vacation time use a nice lightweight P&S or bridge. Enjoy the grandkids and the cruise .

Thanks :)

Bring a power strip, that way you can plug in your electronics while your wife has the hair dryer plugged in.

I have the canon T3i and the sx 50. I would bring the SX 50...as I did to Hawaii and got some great photos. Less to carry around and worry about. Have a wonderful time.

Unless I was being paid, I would not want to be burdened with a lot of camera equipment. I have and still use my Nikon P6000 for times like this. It does an excellent job.

Take the SX50 and leave everything else home so you can enjoy the cruise.

Good point :)
