Hi I was wondering if anyone had some advice on the canon t7i I have the t7 is there that much of a difference between the 2 would I as a begginer be better off with a t7i or is my t7 comparable enough thank you, B
I thought you got a number of suggestions two days ago recommending the T7i. Why ask a question if you plan to ignore the bulk of the advice? If price is holding you back, remember there are used cameras available at KEH and MBP as well as refurbished/reconditioned cameras available from Canon itself.

The t7 is the simplified starter version. The t7i is a bit more advanced and then the next step is the 77D. (not really in the same class as the 80D, the name/number is a marketing thing, in the t6 line name scheme it would have been the t7s).
Learn all you can with your t7, then if you feel that it limits what you can do consider a move up to one of the others.

https://cameradecision.com/compare/Canon-EOS-77D-vs-Canon-EOS-Rebel-T7inote the main difference is the top screen so you don't need to read all the menus on the rear screen when changing the settings.
comparison of 77D and 80D
https://cameradecision.com/compare/Canon-EOS-77D-vs-Canon-EOS-80Dhere there are a lot of differences - in fact so many that rumors are around that with upgrades the next in the XXD series will actually be a replacement for both the 80D and the 7DII*. If so, what will they call it ???? I own and use both an 80D and 7DII-with a 5DIV. I do a lot of birds, bugs/butterflies and macro. The 7DII is a more versatile/capable camera for action but it has an older sensor which is why I got an 80D, but then migrated back to the 7DII for most situations with my birds etc.
*advanced pro/semi-pro level action/wildlife aps-c body that is overdue for a replacement/upgrade.
Didn't you already ask this question and receive plenty of answers; and what do you have against punctuation?
Get an 80D, it's an excellent APS-C camera.
I am sorry, I am new at this I didn't know how to access your kind replys. I had to make a new account to look at these replys and only have access through my phone right now . Did not mean to insult anyone

What you create should show up as a "watched topic".
You can see replies there.
Your original post was the link I provided.

Not to worry. It appears it is you who has been insulted.
Way to go. Picking up after Don Rickles?

For a beginner, no. You already have the camera. Go forth and shoot. Do not worry about a new body until you have a reason that calls for it. When you start to have results that do not meet your needs, come back and ask how to overcome that problem. One day you will have a an issue to which the answer is a new camera body. Until that day, you just do not need a slightly better camera. And on that day you will probably need a much better camera.
(You really should use punctuation.)[/quote]
What does it matter? I think anybody with half a
brain could figure out what op meant.
This is not grade school.

Lack of punctuation has a great tendency to create ambiguity and confusion.
Could also be taken as "...the canon t7i I have..."
So which one does he has?{sic}
Spend the extra money on the t7i. The tilt-swivel touchscreen alone is worth the extra expense. In addition you will get Bluetooth, on-sensor phase detect, and more accurate focus selection of moving subjects.
In the U.S., the price difference is only about $170. Unless your price difference is $300 or more, get the better camera.
