When you are viewing FULL images and you hit the ISO/- button it takes you to calendar view. To cancel this press the QUAL/+ button.

There are four different screens in calendar view. If you press the ISO/- four times you have to press the QUAL/+ four times to get back to full view.

Hope this helps.

The Blue River, iconic but beautiful. I spent four days there and wished for more. Loved shooting in the pavilion. One of my favorite shots from my trip.

Nikon's wired MC-DC2 works well on my D610 and I bought the Photive PHML-L3 for Nikon. It is a fantastic wireless remote, identical to Nikon's at half the price.
I bought them both from Amazon.

MC-DC2 not compatible with 810.

I've had really good advice re. Smoky Mountains, now I'd like some advice on California. We pick up a little Escape campervan from 247 Beach St. Fisherman's Wharf. We want to head to Santa Cruz for the first night of our two week trip. This is daunting for us coming from Australia, though we have driven around South West USA 3 years ago. (My husband drives, not me...no way, I'm the navigator.) I'm thinking if we drive out of Beach St. to Bay St., to Marina Bvd., to Mason St., to Lincoln Bvd. Onto Geary St., then to Ocean Beach and follow coast. That way we don't have to take any left turns lol.. Would this be an easy enough drive? We'll be picking up the van at lunchtime on a Thursday.
I keep reading that the coast road down past Pacifica is hair-raising. How hair-raising? We'd like to go that way to see the coastline and especially Mavericks (famous surf break). Any ideas on good reasonably priced campgrounds near Santa Cruz? I'd appreciate any tips. Jude.

Check out Photograph America newsletters. They cost $8.00 each and I find them very useful. The drive is beautiful and I have never thought of it as hair-rasing.

I own both d7100 and d7200 and the main reason I purchased the d7200 was for the larger buffer. I sometimes shoot action and the buffer on the d7100 was too slow. as for the low light, both are close to the same, the d7200 is advertised to shoot higher ISO, but I have not found a need to go higher that the d7100 offers.

Going to the Palouse and want to know if anyone has some great tips on 'must not miss'. Can't afford to take one of the photo tours after paying for plane fare, rental car and hotel for 2. Staying a week in June. Have received info from the Pullman chamber of commerce and searched the internet. Great photographs out there but none tells you where they were taken. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
