My friend is announcer for these games, so I pretty much have open access to wherever I want to go.

Standing directly behind home place for pitcher shots.
Standing beside opponents' dugout; gap between fence and pole is where I shot.
Thanks for asking.
Mesmerizing. Looks like flowing dancer costumes.
First time for shooting baseball
One of my dearest friend's daughter is the pitcher. What an exciting season.
Camera: New Nikon 3200
Lens: 55-200
Both shots: f4; iso 3200; Sports Mode on camera because I was being lazy, taking pictures and chatting with friends at the same time.
Lots and lots of tournaments in the area so I am having LOTS of fun going to games. I know many of the kids (and their parents) so that makes it even more enjoyable.
Robo was so much fun because the pictures were taken last weekend.
Sometimes, throw away the technical stuff, and just take cute shots. This little guy, Robo, was so much fun. He bounced rather than ran and was always available for a good face-licking kiss.

Robo's brother, Huckleberry
Okay, her name is not really Bertha, but a silly nickname for my 16 year-old niece.
Memphis, TN; overlooking Mississippi River.

I was so accustomed to shooting boys' games. Big difference, but both are so fun. You know the story -- bad lighting, old gym, not enough money for the type of glass I really want, etc.
Stopped for a quick break on way home from weekend in Memphis.
A friend is on a year-long assignment in the Middle East. What does he miss most? Sweet tea from a Mason jar while listening to his cows and petting his dog. I sent him this, but wonder what my neighbors thought when I was in the front yard taking pictures of a jar of tea. :-)
So cute now, but will be priceless when he's a senior in high school.
