Nature is cruel and only the fittest will survive. I have some photos which I would call sad and I wonder what the UH community thinks about posting the not so beutiful side of life in the wilderness.I am not talking about bloody gore or a half eaten human by bears but dying Bald eagle, drowned moose calf and so.Unfortunately such accidents happen in the real life and are a part of our life up here hidden from the tourists.
So what are your thoughts about this "ultimate reality" topic?
Nature is cruel and only the fittest will survive.... (show quote)

With Life there is Death-We are so fast to applaude the creative pictures of the Joys of Life but when it comes to print the realalities of life we are appauled. The rose colored glasses need to come off. There is a natural order of things..

I do not know how popular this is yet but today I have come across aday.org/ What this pertains to in short that on 15 May 2012 all people from all over the world will record their day with their camera and than upload the pictures to share them world wide. I will be contributing of coarse and I hope to put the word out so that many others may also join in this monumental endevour.
I hope everyone is well and thank you for having me part of this community,

I use the D7000 often and love shooting with Live View. I like the fact that you can easily see what the picture will look like if you use different ISO's. I also use ISO Sensitivity setting the maximum ISO and the Minimum Shutter Speed.

Live view is one reason I want to upgrade.
Thanks for your response

I did forget to mention full time auto focus in live view and movie mode.

I currently own a D40 and I really like it and intend to keep it. However I have decided it's time to add to my Nikon inventory.
Both the D7000 and D5100 are interesting and within my price range.
What I am hoping for is to hear from Nikon owners of either model as to why you chose your camera over the other.
All comments will be appreciated

In NO way am I a Camera and glass expert. But I have been investigating the D7000 for about a month now and I am sure it is the best camera in that price range.($1100-body only,$1700 3 pc. lens kit). What I found attractive was the magnesium-alloy top and rear cover, fully sealed for weather and dust, full time auto focus, view finder is about 100% coverage, 39 point focus, HD video that is supposed to be out of this world and a ton of other creature features. I need to tell you unless they come out with something in that price range that can fly that is where my money will be going in the near future. But like I said I am not a camera wizzard but I like to keep control of where my money goes. Take Care

Sorry, but I've never use Corel. The first shot you could clone the date out, but the others are more complex being they are in different parts of the flower. Not sure Inpaint 3 could even do it, and it's one of the better ones. I hope you have shut the date off in your current camera, it ruins many pictures.

Mike

Yes A ROOKIE mistake on my part.I did have a use at the time for it but I did forget to shut it off when I was done.Thank You again for your help
