Love the first photo and the bit of blue peeking through. And the last photo tells me you got the Deluxe Wash with multi-colored suds.

Hi
Next time you are in the Tucson area, visit the Pima Air Museum. You won't be sorry. If you like flying things, this is the place to be. I go annually on Nov 11 and always see something new.

I can't get my avatar to stay up. Any suggestions?

thanks

Hey, Doc, I like them both, but for different reasons. I have been a B&W photographer since the mid '60 (Tri-x was my fave). But, like others who have responded, I like that my eye travels in the color and the texture is excellent.
Good work, Amigo.

Oh, yeah, my vote is COLOR

I love your HRD. Good work.
Nice '57.We gearheads get a bit of a tingle just by looking. Your HRD would look good framed, in your den.

I went to Antelope Canyon in late June and the light was perfect. Especially at noon where the sun can come into the slot.
Don't take a bunch of equipment as there will be a lot of people and very little room. As one poster said, don't change lenses in the canyon. Too much dust. Shoot everything. Also wait for the young Navajo at the mouth of the canyon to throw dirt up into the shaft of light. Awesome results.
If you are going that far, go to the Horseshoe. It is only a few miles south of the lake.
Comfortable shoes and LOTS of water. Seriously.

After reading 26 pages of results, you have inspired me to do one thing. I am on a mission to post the best damn picture I can (even it is from a Lumix). I would like to quote George Gobel. "Did you ever feel like the whole world is a black tuxedo and you're a pair of brown shoes?".
Larry

Hey, Larry, the eye behind the camera is much more important than the camera. All of us have much better equipment than Ansel Adams ever did. And he did OK. Keep the great photos coming.

C: Pentax K10 plus tons of lenses and stuff

D: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 because it is shock proof, water-proof, shoots movies, shoots underwater, 14M pixels, and a lot of other features. Easy to take on my motorcycle.
