I'm not a huge fan of HDR but I mess around with it like many of us do. I used photomatrix pro for these and am quite pleased with the way they came out.

I agree with you, these were very nicely processed. I think what turns people off about HDR is when they see it done with too heavy a hand and it causes halos and a bunch of other issues which turn the photo into a cartoon. These two are done correctly (in my opinion).

Thanx Frank. I could'nt agree with you more. When I first got photomatrix I created a few of those "cartoons" myself.

IMHO, too much HDR on the 57, the mountain is perfect.

I love a 57 Chevy : hate it when someone mess's one up.

I actually like the unprocessed 57 chevy better. The HDR seems over done for my taste.

I love your HRD. Good work.
Nice '57.We gearheads get a bit of a tingle just by looking. Your HRD would look good framed, in your den.

I really like these. The car looks a bit like a painting. I like the way HDRI enhanced the clouds in the sky in the other one.

Are the '1' pix the 'before' with the '2' being 'after'?

Or '1' being a 'little HDR' and '2' being 'more HDR?'

I prefer 57 - 1 and mountain - 2.

Thanks for posting!

Yah, I've gotten that same reaction a few times about the car. Guess I went a little overboard on that one. I guess that's what C+C is all about, though. Thanx

Not a huge fan of HDR's being pushed but I really like the '57, something about it is really great.

HDR did nothing for the '57 but like the subtle effect on the mountain picture.

I like them all, with and without. They're all good, each in their own right. I can appreciate each for what they are, not what they're not.
