They are quite beautiful when they open. It is a large number of petals giving it a full look. The petals are edible but taste pretty bad if not cooked. When cooked they taste like a cross between green beans and artichoke heart (so I'm told. The flowers can even be found in floral bouquets from florist shops so you probably could find a photo online. Thanks for your comment!

The only way it could be cropped to set feeder off center would be if you had done the original shot with more background. If that is all the background your original has you need to leave it as is. Actually, the more I look at it the better I like it just as you posted it.

Fabulous! I like the first best as it gives a feel of emotion, focus is awesome and DOF is great. Love the composition, pose, and colors.

It's a good shot. The sharpness on the body is pretty good. Focusing on the head instead of the body or using greater DOF would have probably helped quite a bit.

The second is awesome! On the first the sharpness could be improved. On the third, it's pretty noisy. Some noise reduction is really needed.

The third is by far my favorite. Super color, composition, and setting. I'm a sharpness freak. I wonder if it would be improved with slight sharpening?
