If you are in a location where you can observe totality, that is the only phase of the eclipse that can be safely observed without protection for your eyes. I was lucky! I took two photography classes at a local community college after work over a year. I went to learn how to be a better photographer, and learned Photoshop as an unintended result. The 18-22 year olds in the class were generous with just the right help at the right time. Not only my photography improved. I learned something about art and I received a new view on my own ideas about photography. If you are close to my age, you may find free tuition based on your age. Hope that you are in a position to try something like this, maybe even online?

I turned 70 this year. I probably will not need to buy another car because my 2019 Subaru will most likely last longer than my driving ability. We have lived in the same house for 30 years and it’s paid for. My kids are all grown and are self supporting. I ordered my Z9 the first day I could to replace a well worn D810. It is like a dream come true. It is silent and fast. Best AF I have ever used. The “S” lenses are very good, but I can still use all of my old glass. It is most likely the last camera I will own. By the time something better comes out, I will be too old to learn how to use it!
Do you have a reader for your memory cards? I find that more reliable than a cable in the camera. Sometimes one of my older cables do not connect reliably. Also, have you tried using the wireless connection? There are several options for file transfers on a Z9…

I have an Epson P800 printer and I print my own for the shows I'm in. I found that frames come in a certain range of sizes, and so does printer paper. The combo that works well for me is 17x22" paper, mats that have a 16x20" opening, all held together in a pre-made frames that is 20x24".
