Hi Friends: Just a note on digital cameras...While working at General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin here in Fort Worth Texas, our photo lab guys got their first digital cameras to try out in the early 80's. They at that time were paying about $28 K for the 3 they were testing. Their manager was keeping them in his locked desk. from all the photos
I used from them they would be better used for heavy weight fishing. As time went on they were using digital only as
some very great imaging. I was a graphic artist for 36 years and saw first hand the beauty of digital imaging in photography and 3D graphic design on our Macs...Great way to make a living!

Such beautiful shore line cities, Always wondered where does all sewage go and where do they get drinking water from. During my days in Vietnam (1967) the thought of drinking water was scary ...

With our special friends (K9s) with me all my life, I still remember every one of them from my years as a child starting with Biff and Duke and now into my last years (81 years old). Every day I take our Tulip girl ( pit bull) for a ride and walk. There is a sprit , a personality, and loving friend. Where ever I'm at she want to be there with my. Over all those years my wife and I have given a home to many pups.

Our hot tub went kaput and we decided not to spend several thousand dollars to replace it. Instead I bought a little stock tank and put it in with some plants hoping I would attract more critters. I really wanted bears, but so far the bears have only drank out of my other above ground pond on the other side of the house. However, I like this as by mid to late summer as it got drier moms would bring their babies to drink and the boys would come as well. I have on mom and twins that come somewhat regularly. I played one evening. Here are a few.

Hi I'm Tom Murray here in Fort Worth, Texas. There are many reasons why I don't up grade to 64 bit Apple system. I have many programs that are 32 bit. Strata 3D is my modeling app as well as all of my Adobe apps.
PhotoShop is one I use the most of for photo editing and printing. I retired from Lockheed as a digital graphic artist and blessed with a great career for 37 years. During that time I was really into the operating systems information of our many computers. Over the years I've watched Apple change the way they move forward with computers. 64 bit is the future of all computers as the applications require that for faster processors that can handle large files. Some of my files are 750gig and larger. Hope that helps you to understand why we are going through this 64bit/32bit change now.

Hi Folks: Over the years I've restored many old B/W photos, and in trying to keep them looking authentic for the time frame from where they came from, I make sure they are saved in RGB so I can add a small amount of yellow and red. I've worked with photoshop sense there was photoshop. I've ben a graphic designer for a major aerospace company here in Fort Worth, Texas starting in 1968 after a tour in Vietnam and Thailand.
Photography is about information. For me, B/W photos that were originally color, lack a lot of detail that adds to what you want others to see. For more modern times, (50s-70s) photos were printed on a better paper that held the image longer. So, think of time frame when selecting B/W.

Hi: I'm Tom Murray from Fort Worth Texas< I have the same machine and work on files much larger then 100mg (500g and higher).
I've been into computer graphics from 1984 to now. I was a Graphics designer for Lockheed Martin for 37 years and was always
working on the cutting edge of Apple computers (3D modeling & animation) I've always used disc repair ( tech tool pro 9 and the built in Disc Utility)
to streamline the data on my hard drive. I will say early on with my new Mac the SSD had to be replaced due to it getting boged down
when rendering 3d & animation. Hope that helps, call on me any time thru UHH.

you need to install Adobe Bridge, drag your raw photos into "Bridge" and you will be given the ability to preview and tweak before Photoshop opens. Bridge is usually included with the
Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. I'm a retired graphic designer after 40 years and still use these apps every day, from the time they were created....Tom Murray

A man and his wife were speeding along at 60 miles an hour in a 40 MPH speed zone when he was stopped by an officer who clocked him on his radar gun. When the officer walked up to the side of the car the man asked him “Officer what seem to be the problem?” The officer said “ clocked you doing 60MPH in a 40MPH zone. “I’m going to have to give you a ticket” “The man said “officer I think you need to have your radar gun recalibrate. I couldn’t have been going that fast” His wife beside him was knitting. She never raised her head but said to him “Oh honey, you know you were speeding, you always drive too fast “ The man turned and raising his voice said to her “Would you please be quiet!”

Then the officer looked down and saw that the man did not have his seat belt on. He told the man, I see you are not wearing your seat belt. I’m going to have to give you a ticket for not having it on, to which the man replied..”Well officer, when I saw your lights in my rear view mirror I had to take it off to get to my billfold in my rear pocket” The wife , still knitting, spoke up and said “Oh honey! You know you never wear your seat belt” You hate seat belts! The husband turned to her and raising his voice even louder and said, “I told you to keep your mouth shut!”

His wife than said to him “Aren’t you glad you hid your radar detector.” The husband turned to her and said “Woman! I told you to keep your big fat mouth shut!” The officer had over heard what she said about radar detector and so wrote him out the third ticket for having a radar detector in his car. As the officer handed the man the third ticket, he kind of leaned in and asked the woman, “Lady, does your husband always talk to you like that?” For the first time she looked up from her knitting and sweetly said to the officer, “Oh no!…only when he has been drinking.”
