I have an A99 that is in beautiful condition with a low shutter count that I might consider moving for around $1250.... I was thinking of making the move to the A7Rii.. PM me if there is interest. I'll need the money to fund the A7.
Warm Regards,
Mick

This is a request for a little tech help on the A900. In theory, complete manual mode with auto ISO should be available, and is exactly what I'd like. For example... Bird shooting is typically done at a shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. So in Manual mode, I'd like to set the shutter at 1/1000th, the aperture at 5.6, and ISO at auto... and just let the camera figure out what ISO is correct at those other settings and current light conditions... Doesn't happen.... Is there some secret setting in the menu I might be missing?
Thanks

The Bluejays that come visit me are extremely coy. While most other species are not bothered by my presence, I need to be really slow and quiet to get a shot of the Bluejays. They're gone at the hint of a sound of the door opening, or even the shutter actuating.
Shot with my Sony A900, Sony 70-400mm G lens... ISO 800, 360mm, /5.6, 1/60th sec.

No lens, and thank you for the offer, but it's not enough. It's literally brand new... less than 25 actuations. I'll come down to 12, but I'm firm on that. Thanks for the interest.
Warm Regards,
Mick
