I particularly like #2. I have tried but failed to get shots of these dragons. My easy-moving days are gone so now I am enjoying the efforts of others. I admire your work.. ...jean
When I downloaded #8 and then magnified it, I could not help but wonder what mineral gives those beautiful blue rocks their color. These shots have to spark the imagination of all of us who love canyons and cliffs. Thank you. I had no idea that Arabia had a landscape like this. I thought it was just a big sand pile. Thanks for making my world a bit bigger. ...jean
I live on Lake Seminole in South Georgia where there lots of anhingas but I have never seen this live. Surely, he will not need to eat for at least a week. Thank you for posting such great shots. That was quite a meal. You followed the action perfectly, even his tossing the fish to change the position! Excellent work!
I particularly like the GBH looking over his shoulder. An unusual pose, very well done as were all the others.
A beautiful falls like this one deserves a better name!! Water falls are a special love for me. Thanks.
I particularly liked the wild orchid in the first image. The last image is my favorite. I have not seen this red-veined species in North Florida Swamps. Well done; interesting plants.
Colors enhance nature's shapes. Beautiful! The first and last are my favorites.
My husband was expert with tools and particularly loved the old ones. But, your bear's expression steals the show for me! Would you mind if I save the picture to a file where I can see it often? Thank you for some extra sunshine on a very cloudy day. ...jean
I really like the white pelicans in the swamp. Here in South Georgia, we see them in open water on the rivers. The trees add even more interest. Good job- thanks.
These shots really come alive on download. I like all of them! Particularly #2. I am not a fan of silky water.
Impressive work! I particularly like the first three. Your attention to detail is excellent. Thank you for posting these.
My favorite is #1. It is so sharp and well done. I can see it as the front of a greeting card that would be good for any occasion. Each of the others also tells a story. Thank you. I love that part of Florida. jean
Harvey, I just spent an hour looking at all the photos on your website. I fell in love with southern Utah in the early 90's and had always wanted to go back. Now, it is too late for me to do that but I have a lot of appreciation for what you are doing. There are many people who love the wilderness and truly wild places are becoming harder to find. ...jean
Paul, please tell me what solution you used to remove the "sticky". I, too, have trouble with sticky rubber on a number of lenses. I used the search section on this site but was unable to find the answer you referred to. Am wondering if it was just the alcohol. Thanks. jean
If I chose one, it would be #3. In 1996, at my insistence, my husband knelt on that same rock (at my insistence). I told him he was the pearl in a giant oyster. (Folks near the Florida coast think like that.) Thanks for reviving the memory.
