People are different, so are dragons. The tactics used previously didn't work with this one - I couldn't get close. You may notice a difference in sharpness since I reverted to the AF Nikkor 75-300 4.5 5.6 (at 300) that was my favorite insect lens before I got the 105. Not too bad, I think. Was hoping to get this one! D 810 and the lens described.

I particularly like #2. I have tried but failed to get shots of these dragons. My easy-moving days are gone so now I am enjoying the efforts of others. I admire your work.. ...jean

Very nice job on this set. This is a male Band-winged Meadowhawk (Sympetrum semicinctum). Don’t move that perch! Well done.
