I have purchased a Nikon D90 and several nikkor len's all from B&H and I have nothing but Good to say. All have been working flawlessly. I had researched prior to the purchases and all the good things I heard about the quality of the Nikon refurbished products has helped me to decide. Now when looking for new Nikon equipment I always check the refurbished first.

Great picture, everything about it looks spot on. What lens and settings did you use? Your other photos I have seen are very nice as well.

Congrats! Good pics. What background were you using? Your lighting looked good to me how did you position your lights?

OK I have two ideas for the next lesson but I'm wanting to see what everyone wants.

#1 - Lesson about using flash (just an intro nothing super fancy)
#2 - Composition (quick intro)
or
#3 - How to nail focus

I'll look at the results later to day and start the lesson from there.

I also vote with the rest. #3 However I would like to see #1 and #2 in the near future. Especially #1.

Again, thank you for taking the time to put these together, it is greatly appreciated!

My question is how would you charge for the photos? Free meal or what other type compensation?

Man you'd have to eat a lot to make a living!

Or eat like a bird!

I am experimenting on several pictures with changing the background to B&W in order to emphasize the flowers. I would appreciate your comments as to the desirability of this application. Thanks!
If you are so moved to post your own pictures, please feel free to do so. I like to see what others are doing also.

I use the same technique with some portraits I have taken. I would sometimes blur the B/W portion as well. I have always liked using that application. I like the shots by the way.

Does anyone have examples/samples of a written print release allowing full access to images on provided DVD/CD that you would not mind sharing? Thanks in advance!

Just putting this out there, I know we have a daily photo challenge here on UHH hosted by photogrl57, I believe the idea behind her thread is to get people out and using their camera every day. Now I don’t want to step on her toes but I was thinking of hosting a weekly photo challenge that would be more geared toward learning how to use your camera, what changing certain settings will do and helping members go from using a pre-program mode to learning how to use the scary M mode (manual). There would be weekly assignments and we would discuss as a group what we learned each week, maybe even take a selected group of images from the lesson and discuss them as a whole.

Let me know if anyone is interested in something like this.
