Where you turned the back focus button on, you have to adjust the settings for the shutter button to turn it off.

It depends how close you get to that lion? You might miss that 100mm.

Changing you dpi in photoshop or some other program doesnt add to the image quality. It has to be captured that way. It will make it look larger on screen, but it wont magically add pixels to your image.

Cutting trees is great for the environment. Regeneration is important for thousands of wildlife species. There has to be a balance of ages in the forest.

I love the things you can do with green screen... here is the picture I took of my daughter that we put on her birthday party invitation...
Actually, my green screen was packed because we were in the midst of moving so I took her outside in the grass to shoot this picture. I thought green is green, lets try this...

That looks great. Very creative way to use chromakey.

I have a new Canon T3. So far the pictures are amazing. I'm using a class 10 32 GB SD card which seems to slow down after it gets about 500 pictures onto it. Is this normal? Would it be better to use smaller cards?

- Brian

If it slows after 500 pictures, it doesn't make sense that it's the buffering speed of your camera. I would recommend trying a smaller card. CF cards are also rated for speed (not sure about SD)-- however this more likely impacts download speed rather than write speed. Not all manufacturers make the same quality cards. I don't believe in going cheap with memory. I also think it's preferable to carry more smaller cards rather than one gigantic card. It's that "eggs in a basket" thing.

I'll test and report. I have a couple smaller cards that I can test.

In my honest opinion (and I prefer Canon) They (Canon) should not have even put the T3 on the market they should have just skipped it and gone to the T3i
I am SO glad I bought the 60D.

Brian-how long ago did you purchase the T3?

Only had it about a month. I'm thinking about updating already.

I would go to where I bought it and ask to exchange if you are within a month it should be no problem and if just over if you are upgrading on the return they will probably help you out.

It's worth a try. Still pretty happy with the picture quality.
