Hi!

That was one thing I watched when I saw the news report. The one report had a good shot of it coming in for a landing and you could tell just how ginger the landing was and how the weight made that 747 squat down.

Now it is a normal flight for the NASA flight. Taking that first TO/Landing had to be something.

Just a shame now we have a ton of bucks sunk into the Space Station and now forced to pay Russia for a ride up or down to it.

OK Let me step off my soapbox,
Joe

Hi!
Yes, I checked it from both angles. I bought a new set of batteries & that didn't work. Then I thought maybe it is my charger. I also bought a new charger and had the same results. I had hoped it was a bad charger or a bad battery, no such luck!

Thanks for the reply,

Well my old friend is starting a slow death, that's my Canon A570is. I really liked that camera and had taken many good pics. Now all of a sudden it is going through batteries like mad & the auto focus is not very reliable.

My problem is what do I buy? I had a Pentex 35 mm film that started out small but I soon added this and that till I was at the point of having a mid sized camera bag. I like the SLR but I don't want the size. I do a great deal of travel and my 570 spoiled me in having a small bag on my belt.

I have decided on going 50/50 and settles on a Canon G12. This will let me play when I want and also take an auto shot. It also fits into a small camera bag for travel and #1 it has both a view finder & a display screen. I have a lot of problems with the newer P&S and not having a viewfinder in the sun.

I hope I am going in the right direction!!!!

I know I have old program but I think it can do what I am trying to do. I am still on Photoshop Elements v. 5

I have a nice picture but taken with a nasty cloudy sky as the background. I took another shot of nothing but clear sky.

Is there a "Simple" way to change the background of my picture to show a nice clear day. Someone had told me it can be done with Layers??? Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I would like to add my name to the request list. I would like "Photoshop CS User Guide" & "Visual Photoshop" if still available.

I would make Visual as my #1 request. I like the style of all their books. After a lag I am getting back into photography as a hobby and blends well with my travels.

At this stage I am getting ready to step up from Elements to the full Photoshop. Advise how I proceed from here is full address / Payment and so on. Thank you!
