Still laughing about that one.

But something else.... I think your neighbors place washed away.
There's a river there now.

Glad it didn't take your cherry truck away. :D

I'm sorry.....I don't like the blue bow tie they put on everything which matched nothing (they later moved it to the grille). I am from the era of leading in (old term when they did use lead). I still have the emblem somewhere.

Nice ride GH!!! Great job on the restore. Why didn't the bow tie make it back on? I had a 64 I fixed up and a 58. Now I am working on a 78 Ford f250. Never can find time right now though.

Look at the split rims, big tires, big bumpers, big mirrors and don't forget the gun rack (right off the farm).

Nice improvement in both the truck and the photography.

It's so nice to have a bright, crisp, in focus photo which we all strive for. This is not one of those, but the best I could do with low light, hand held, 1/15th sec. and 6400 ISO. But I like it.

I have a lot of dahlias in my yard. We are getting to the end of the season so I thought I better get taking pictures.

I was looking on line yesterday at band saws at Home Depot. Immediately an add for a band saw appeared on Facebook.

I did not use the portrait view as it was hung up with bailing wire and kind of time consuming to change and the people did not show up in any order to get their picture taken. The size of this frame is 20 by 24 outside dimension and 12 by 16 inside the matte. Here is a picture of the back side showing the masonite matte held in by scrap wood. It's quite sturdy for traveling.

GH2man, thanks for the reply and additional information. Did you use the "portrait" side of the frame? If so, perhaps for the singles in the class?
What is the overall size of the frame and the inside of the matte?
Still a great idea and I bet you had fun as did the class mates with them being the attraction as well!!
Thanks again

The other screw eye was to be able to hang the frame vertically if needed. I didn't find being not level a problem. In PSE 10 I would first level it then crop. In the original photo you can see that the frame is not quite level.

GH2 . . ANOTHER GREAT idea worth stealing and I am going to too!!! My 55th class reunion is in October, probably will not be outside taking photos, might be too cold! Will think of an idea on how to make a frame to hang the frame from......
I note a screw eye in the lower left corner of the frame. Was this used to help keep it level by chance??

Thanks again for sending the idea. Gonna love it, I just know...if I/we/you can come up with something that will hold the frame and not be intrusive to the participants.

Thanks again and please do keep me posted!!!

No, I did build it. It stopped working a few years ago and it cost me as much to fix it as the original cost of the clock.

What??? You still have the "kit" today? Why haven't you built it yet!!!!!quote=GH2man]Very nice clocks. Do you remember the advertisements on the back of "Popular Mechanics" in the sixties to build your own grandfather clock? The solid walnut case was $99.00 and the movement was $99.00. I sent for the kit from Emperor clock Co. in Fairhope Alabama. I still have it today.
