Thanks
Side note, fat fingers strikes again, 70-200 not 79
Had to drive 2:30 to get to a totality zone and find some clear-ish sky’s in Texas.
Shot on z7ii remotely to my phone via SnapBridge.
79-200 @200mm with nd20 filter.
Not processed, basically just cropped.
We will see how things look on the raw file later.

I always say whatever doesn’t kill you makes for a good story later.
The story is definitely interesting
This was back end of Covid lockdowns.
Leaving the Badlands we took some back roads south rather than jumping on a highway.
About 30-40 minutes of driving we see a couple pickup trucks blocking the road. A sheet of plywood painted by hand “Covid check point, stop!”
Apparently we were coming into native lands. A makeshift check point.
They asked us if we had fevers… no, ok you can go.
My wife was freaking out “this is how horror movies start!” lol
Getting ready to make an eclipse attempt.
I expect Texas is going to get the short end Monday with rain and clouds.
Practice and playing with settings and photoshop
Nikon z7ii, 2x tc, 300 f4 pf, K&F nd1000000 solar filter
Just for fun.
Thank you all.
Hoping Texas weather clears up Monday for the eclipse otherwise I’ll have to resort to going back over old pictures like this more.

Nice. The scenery in the park dull and uninteresting midday under a blinding sun but is quite beautiful during morning and evening.
It definitely gets hot and bland mid day.
We had a storm blow through midnight our last night of tent camping. Local news said gusts of 72mph.
The 4 of us “slept” in the truck, watched our tents fold up like oragami lol.
But so worth the experience
Going through some files from 2021.
This is about 10 shots stacked and blended.
I love sunrise.
Sunrise > sunset imo
Im definitely no expert, but I like a couple, and a couple I really don’t.
Hands on the wall I feel like she’s been busted.
Last one facing away feels awkward to me.
The “grungy” location, I feel like needs a darker tone. They’re bright and airy not fitting the location to me.
Again I’m no expert, just my gut feeling.
Thank you everyone for the suggestions and all.
Constructive criticism and feedback is how we learn so I’m always open to them.

Suggestions although you didn't ask for them. Shoot tight and fill the frame. You would need a 2.8 lens to shoot at night under the best lighting. The closer shots are good.
Suggestions are always welcome on my posts.
(Thick skin)
I have about 1300 left to go through. Some tighter as they played more on my end of the field.
Some day I’ll have the spare change for a long 2.8.
Shooting under stadium lights is pretty new to me honestly. Learning curve in place.
I haven’t shot outside sports in years.
Last week I was asked to shoot the girls soccer games so I gave it a shot.
Nikon Z7ii w/Nikon Z100-400 4.5-5.6
Most shots were around 1/1000-1/1250
I found the stadium lights to be pretty weak for photography, so ended up with a higher ISO and slower shutter than I like towards the end.

Awe sparky, its cute, your attempt to insult or get a rise.
Again, as I stated, something you don’t want to see or read… move on, skip it, and ignore it.
While not really interested in seeing nude males, the idea that this section should exclude those images is just silly.
If you can’t handle seeing a naked dude… skip his posts and go look for pretty young women photos.
Seems to me if you’re only interested in seeing “pretty young females” you have no real interest in photography and just perving on young girls.
Go buy a playboy subscription maybe??
In Texas our JV season ends with district (first round of post season)
Thank you all
I much prefer being matside but you do what you can.
