I have been all these places several times except Russia with a Nikon D750. No issues what so ever. It is easier to shoot street photography and children than is the US. Mongolians, Cambodians and Vietnamese are very friendly. Chinese can be rude, read about their customs ahead of time and act accordingly. Manchuria is amazing. You can go to www.thegroverphotography.com
and see what I was able to shoot in all these areas. Safety and security is just use common sense. The general public does not have guns, so nothing to worry about. You are 55 times more likely to get shot in the US than in Vietnam. Most crime for tourist is petty crime again use common sense. In these areas it is important to have a good tour guide. Enjoy.

I about three weeks I am doing the Budapest to Amsterdam Viking River Cruise. I will be taking 22 16GB cards.
I travel a lot with one or two Nikon D750's. I use 16GB cards. I bring 18 in two Think Tank Pixel Pockets, plus the two or four that are in my camera's. I would never use larger than 16GB for photo's. Two many eggs in one basket. I do not reformat until I have returned home and everything is backed up. https://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/sd-pixel-pocket-rocket
Great package and a bargain, your always have the latest Lightrooml Photoshop and Bridge. I use all three a lot. Use Lightroom Classic CC and you photos all are on your computer. All of my plugins work. It is important to learn and completely understand the organizational capabilities of Lightroom. It is important to use keywording and collections. You can also install a smugmug uploader in LR and it works great. Read https://www.lightroomqueen.com/
I have two D750's. Great camera. handles low light extremely well. Got the first one when they first came out. Go the second one in 2017.
