Thanks everyone for the comments.
I guess I should have given more info; thanks to the person who researched it. Did not realize it was on line.
I just have an old newspaper article about it.
My grandmother use to take me to see this stone when we would visit the cemetery that my grandfather was buried in.
It is in a small town of Garden Prairie, Il.
The story goes that this Doctor would come into a town; find a rich lady and get close to her. Then he would plan
the poisoning of the husband and he would take her money over a short time and leave the area. To do it all over again.
At a young age I had an interest in cemeteries and death; Thus I became a Funeral Director.
I was told that you need to have two wren houses so that the female can pick which one she wants to use.
In the past they seem to favor one house over the other. Always enjoyed watching them feed and raise the
young. Now I live in the desert in Ca. so do not have the wrens we had back in Illinois.
Great point, that is how I feel.
Thanks for saying it.
Thank you. I did not want to disturb them; but get as close as I could.
Here are some photos of the baby Mourning Doves in our hedge.
Yesterday there were two and today only one. Not sure if one got pushed out or left. It was stretching its wings yesterday when I was looking at them from the patio. When I would go over to take the photo they just huddled together.
Wow those are beautiful. I am also like the sight and sounds of a pipe organ. These old instruments are so ornate and well planed into the settings of the Cathedrals. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks glad you liked them
Took a few close ups of the plant by our garage.
