I would like a manual for my F3. I have a PDF of one, but would like the original and maybe the box if it wasn't too expensive.

I’m downsizing and wanted to ask if there was value in saving the original boxes from lens and cameras?

I haven't read the entire thread, but many people sell the boxes, manuals etc on eBay and they do have quite a bit of value.

Do a quick search on Google and you will likely find a digital copy

I'm so used to it I just don't even think about it much.

If images don't show the speck/artifact, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you got it from KEH or BH, I would let them know about the mark.

That's very good to know, I had been doing a lot of research(including that lens) but hearing your results is quite helpful. Thanks!

Is made like a tank and you can also update it/change settings via the Sigma docking port. The lens can be had used for around ~$450. I can't justify it's cost when new.

Look at replacing the 55-250 with a longer lens more appropriate to wildlife, not replacing the cropped-sensor camera. A lens that reaches at least 400mm will have a more (more significant) impact on your results.

The Sigma 100-400 6.3(?) is stellar in my opinion. With crop factor considered, it's in the neighborhood of 620mm and has shown me tack sharp results.

I have both and they're great cameras. I've never cared about the crop aside from doing a little math to get the focal length I want. Mostly use the 5D3 for shots where I want redundancy. I tend to use the 80D more for everyday shooting. 24mm, 50mm and a 100-400 Sigma has me covered on most of what I shoot. Either camera or BOTH cameras will serve you. What kind of shooting are you going to be doing?

I like my older stuff and it does what I need and delivers every time. My "newest" camera is the Canon 80D...still ancient by today's standards. I have a couple of modern lenses that are still in current production.

All of my gear is used with exception of a Canon 24mm I got on Amazon. Used is the way to go if you don't need the latest thing. I simply cannot afford "new" equipment. All my gear is in excellent condition and does what I want it to. MPB, KEH, Amazon, eBay, Roberts etc. are all great used gear options.

Haven't seen Amazon mentioned ! ? .......

I bought a couple of things through Amazon (used) and the experience was ok. Just a very limited inventory. Watch seller ratings!

eBay if you know what you're doing and check seller reviews and photos very closely.

I've always heard that you shouldn't use a vacuum to clean the inside of a camera and a computer, but I don't know the reasoning behind that advice. Maybe that only applies to very powerful vacuums.

Maybe static electricity generation?
