Really beautiful and wonderfully peaceful.
As I am a woman, I can tell you that you made two mistakes because on the one hand, you insulted her and then complimented her, twice.
For example, you are pushing 80 but you are still attracitve.
Strike one.
Example two, just because a woman does not wear make up as I don't because I feel it is a waste of time, that does not mean that we are letting ourselves go.
Just saying that she looked great without all the other stuff would have made her day.
This is not criticism, just probably a perspective on why she got upset.
Same thing goes for never talking about weight, either losing or gaining.
Thanks everyone for your knowledge and insight in responding to my question. I will take it all under consideration when and if I buy another telephoto lens.
I have a Nikon Z-50 that I use the adaptor that I bought when I purchased the camera with a Sigma 600mm lens.
I have no problems with that setup but I would like to go to an 800mm lens because my interest is in photographing birds, mostly for making identification when I get home if I need to. The 800mm Nikor lens is a bit pricey for me and I was wondering if a teleconvertor would work on that camera with a 400mm lens and get just as good photographs. Anyone have any insight or suggestions about this?
I could not stop laughing! Thanks so much for the chuckles.
Thanks for posting this. I have been using Costco for my photos for forever and was never notified of this change. The deadline for transferring is 1/27 so this came in enough time to transfer all of my photos with them to Shutterfly
It takes 3-4 hours for it to charge when it is registering 3 bars.
I only have one battery because maybe I was spoiled, but I still have an old Nikon D300S and the original battery from 2006 that never failed me under any condition and never all of a sudden died on me. That battery never went from 3 bars to dead on me like this one does. I am also not crazy about this Nikon Z50 so I am not inclined to get another battery, especially with some of the other screwy things that the camera does and of course never does it when I bring it into the camera shop that I have been buying from for 30 years. Bottom line, I don't want to put any money into this camera if I don't have too. I guess I will either just have to live with it or wait to get another camera. Thanks for your time.

How old are your batteries? And welcome to UHH, glad you joined us.
Don
A little over a year old.
I am new to posting but have been taking photographs since 1964 and reading your site for years.
The question I have is I wonder if anyone is else having the same trouble with their Nikon 50 battery or the camera. The issue is that the battery show 3 bars on the camera's view finder, but when I go to charge it up to make sure it really has a full charge, it takes 3-4 hours on three bars for the battery charger to stop flashing to show that the battery has been fully charged up. The reason this is a problem is because when I am out in the field and see three bars I think that I have a fully charged battery but I have been burned more than once with the camera's battery dying abruptly. So I am not sure if this is the camera's problem of not sensing the battery properly or something being wrong with the battery itself. Any guidance?
