I'm going to do some more research on lens, etc. You have inspired me!
That is another awesome photo!! I have read your process three times and understand most - but not all. I do save some bugs to look at under a magnifying glass, and show to my grandchildren. I would love to try this - I have a d500 and tripod, etc. I'll save this and reread a few times, and see what happens!
How "brief"? Great detail.
Great photo! Someday I’d love to go birding in Texas.
Thank you! I am inspired to try this!
Love the photo! We have an old, hollow cedar tree that has been a “bee tree” for decades! We’ve lived here since Oct 1974 and there was only one season that it was not used. It was old and used for at least 30 years before us. Occasionally there are swarms that come, or go. And no one has been stung!

Welcome! I live in Northern Illinois, northwest of Rockford, 3 miles from the Wisconsin border. Have fun learning everything photography!
Hello! I just ordered a book on Photo Restoration but it has not arrived yet. What book did you use? Your results are excellent. I do have an Epson V700 scanner.
Hello, if Bunky1151 changes his mind, I can be next in line for the sale.
