thanks everyone. i appreciate all of your comments.
beautiful set. i especially enjoyed the graves creek, the 2 hoar frost images and the tree stumps. great job!
a 1 minute long exposure taken just after sunset. it doesn't look like it in this shot, but i was standing on a rock and the waves were coming up to my ankles at times.
gorgeous view, the hole in the rain clouds makes the scene complete for me.
by lax i just mean that they allow you to fly. most states are a flat out no from the start. i wasn't expecting oregon to allow drone use at state parks considering they didn't even let you pump your own gas until recently.
as part of my job i also opted to be on the public safety drone team. i wouldn't say we intentionally break rules on the job, but occasionally we end up doing what's necessary to complete the mission and submitting any infractions to nasa later. but when i'm flying recreationally i'm very self conscious about whether i'm following all of the faa's rules.
west virginia's state parks started a pilot program where drones can be used during certain hours of the day. south dakota, wyoming and oregon are very lax with their state park drone rules.
i took my mavic 3 pro on vacation to custer state park in south dakota. coming from a state with no mountains, it was interesting trying to figure out if i was still within 400' agl or not.
beautiful images of the egret. excellent poses, the feather details are amazing.
badlands national park as the sun set behind me. the color wasn't the best so i switched it up to b&w.
found this little guy in florida. never saw the mother, but another photographer said it was a great horned owl.
