No hurt to my feelings. In fact, satisfaction of another interested party in joining the CHG-Canon Fan Boyz Club. Issues in the supply line means we don't have any extra-small hats to send, but we'll reach out when the next delivery gets through customs.

Thanks again for thinking of me but you did not answer my question. I now grant you permission to have the last word.

Your recourse is not publicly complaining. Nor, jousting with people who know better than you. Rather, you need to (a) report the issue to the only party with the power to act - ADMIN. And (b) consider where and why you post any of your work to anywhere on the internet, along with considering the pixel resolution used and whether the file is made available for taking. These are all things you can do, rather than the fool's errand of policing other's actions on the internet. One would think an adult doesn't need these basics spelled out in writing ....

Awww, please don't be angry with me. Have I hurt your feelings? Why have you assumed that I haven't reported the issue to Admin? I know that you are significantly more mature and intelligent than I am. When did you become a member of MENSA?

Welcome to the internet. Guess you didn't understand?

Thanks again for your support. I can explain things to you but I can't understand them for you. Now go play with your friends.

Posting image litter into the main discussion does not fall under that limit. If you didn't know that, now you do.

Thanks so much for your input but NO ONE HAS PERMISSION TO COPY OR EDIT MY IMAGES NOR TRANSFER THEM FROM THE PHOTO GALLERY TO THE MAIN PHOTOGRAPHY DISCUSSION!

So my trying to suggest your work has some degree of creative potential is just rain on your parade ? Okay. So heres your photo in question, intact as you posted it earlier.

Within it, I saw a possible cropping and did post that as showing creative potential lurking there. But it was a full color image, which bothers you.

Attached below your original is a "rough sketch" of suggested cropping, divorced from all other aspects of you photo. IOW not a new version of your photo, just a sketch about a potential composition. Check it out.

Oh, now it's a SKETCH. I know you consider yourself as an Artist. Most of what I've seen you post is (I'll put it gently) not to my liking. You should also note that that image was posted with the following text..."Nothing special, just a snapshot of something I haven't seen in many, many years".

DO NOT COPY OR EDIT MY IMAGES!!

Actually, I metered on the fuel tank. I felt that on a day with harsh sunlight (which we all know is never ideal) I

was concerned with 18% reflectance. You can easily see on the door frame blown highlights, but at least in my

opinion at a hopefully acceptable level. Have you spotted my one mistake? The rider's nose is right on the door

frame assembly. Not a professional grade effort. What the heck, I mean with subjects like these, who looks at

door frames and noses? :))

Thanks for the question.

Tony

We all understand about 18% reflectance so why spot meter a totally black fuel tank?? Hence the blown highlights. The nose on the door frame doesn't trouble me as much as photographing from the rear and including the three trash receptacles.

Someone did a lousy job of copying, cropping, and editing my image. I'm not surprised it was USER ID or SuperflyTNT. See USER ID's post on 4/23 at 13:46 (before Admin hopefully removes it). You can see my original image under the topic "Something I've only seen once".

PS: I did not grant anyone permission to edit my image!

Many thanks for viewing. A very nice gentleman. He even offered to get off of the bike and I asked him to please stay on it. I like the results here. )

Tony :))

What did you spot meter on...the jeans?

WOW! This thread has an amazing abundance of ridiculously juvenile posts😝. So much for thoughtful, friendly exchanges of opinions on photography!

Since he has been a member for 8 years, I'll bet he already knows that. Sometimes in our haste to respond, we can forget.

On Nikon, double exposures are easy in RAW. In fact, there is a page on two in the manual covering how to do it. Easy as can be, and it's on a DIGITAL camera. Below is an example. Moon was added easily with the Nikon system.

It's an awesome image Bill, regardless of how you did it.
