So.. I was a NIKON girl forever - but before that I was Fuji (I've been in the business for awhile and loved my FUJI) Well, I got out of weddings and portraits, sold all my gear.

I saw this package: https://www.adorama.com/ifjxt5sk1.html
Which I think I'll buy.

I gues my question is - I'm no longer needing all the gear as I am not full time anymore, rather I do more art and personal projects. Can I hear from the Fuji folks - how is color - how is focus on their latest gear?

I was also going to buy Sony - but then I held off. I'm back to being a newbie and confused. :) Help!

The specific technical printing options are best determined directly from each unique candidate print vendor. For candidates you review, add https://www.printique.com/ (formally AdoramaPix). Although they'll accept TIFF, they prefer JPEG in sRGB. Check their FAQ and tech notes for other options.

If you pursue CMYK, a LR discussion earlier this year noted that LR doesn't output files to this color format, but you can 'save as' from PS.

I second Printique - they still do silver halide printing for prints and books.

Hi folks

I'm making my first calendar for sale - any advice for a newbie?

What do you do about holidays? Do you put them all in or ?

Do you stick with the normal sizes 10x10 - traditional - what sells best?
I was thinking of doing something with more impact.(size)

I haven't decided which company to use - any suggestions?

Thank you! I compared Bay to Printique - looks to be about same price - Printique offers free shipping and 15% off first order.

I'm a bit confused though... I think Bay prints on paper and then puts acrylic on top? Do I understand that right?
Printique prints on the acrylic.

Hi folks,

I'm new here - Although I've been a photographer for years - mostly wedding and children. I got burnt out and started back up during covid - doing mostly abstract- fine art - etc.

For my first round of printing - I did macros of flowers. I would like to print them on acrylic.

I see they offer it:https://www.printique.com/products/acrylic-prints/

Few questions - has anyone here printed their work on acrylic? Do you have any examples?
Did you do the thin or the block?

Also - how do reds - register on acrylic?

Any advice is greatly appreciated since these are a bit pricey and I want to make sure they reflect the idea/vision I have for my work.

Thank you!
