So.. I was a NIKON girl forever - but before that I was Fuji (I've been in the business for awhile and loved my FUJI) Well, I got out of weddings and portraits, sold all my gear.

I saw this package: https://www.adorama.com/ifjxt5sk1.html
Which I think I'll buy.

I gues my question is - I'm no longer needing all the gear as I am not full time anymore, rather I do more art and personal projects. Can I hear from the Fuji folks - how is color - how is focus on their latest gear?

I was also going to buy Sony - but then I held off. I'm back to being a newbie and confused. :) Help!

I have a Fuji X-T4. the fuji colors are great. The focus is fine for me. It focuses about as fast as my Nikon D810 did.I also came from Nikon to Fuji and have not regretted the move at all.

I’m Shootings birds flying and I can switch between group and dynamic focus. If I lose a bird behind a tree my 810 is set up to keep the focus for some sec. Can the Fuji do this too?

Looks interesting. I had one of Sony 7 I don’t know which one it was exactly. I felt the camera is too small for my hands or better I couldn’t find a position where I turn bought wheels Comfortable.
Good luck

I LOVE my Fuji. I have the X-T2 and was about to trade for an X-T4 until the X-T5 came out (40MP vs 26MP). The color is outstanding - typically one of Fuji’s strong points, and the AF is excellent. My question is whether to buy it with the “kit” lens (which is quite good) or consider the body only and pick something like the 16-80 for a “walk around” versatile lens. I sold the 18-55 and bought the 16-80 f4 and have been very pleased with the results. I also really like some of the fast primes such as the 50 f2 or f1.2, the 90 f2 and the 50-140 f2.8. Fuji has a very comprehensive lens line up. They are as good as my Canon Ls in terms of performance, and they are adding more all the time. As you can tell, I’m a fan of Fuji. Even though I’m keeping my Canon FF system, it’s the Fuji (size and weight) that I pick up more and more when I head out.

I've been a fuji shooter since X-T1 came out. Currently own the X-T3 and seriously considering the X-T5. I can echo the comments above. Here's a moon shot from a few nights ago.

I switched to Fuji from Canon I love my X-T4. At first I didn't like the EVF but have learned to live with it. The IBIS is wonderful and I rarely use a tripod anymore except when shooting panoramics. No complaints about the tracking system and image quality is excellent. The actual images always look better than what I see in the EVF.

I am still rocking my XT-2. Love the compactness(is that a word) of this camera and the colors are wonderful. I would also add I don't need much in terms of video; I am strictly doing photography. I just watched 2 reviews of the XT-5 yesterday and it is the first time I have thought about upgrading.

Reassess what you are going to use the camera for.
Then. Read the actual reviews of users of that camera. Go to utube and watch the reviews.
My only advice is to NEVER buy a camera body before it has been out for at least a year and only after reading all of the user reviews.
Example, when the Nikon z9 came out it has, and still has focus issues, if you had bought that camera when it came out for birds in flight you would have had issues for some time and you would not have been happy.

I like my Fuji cameras which were recommended by a person at B+H who ran their events.

I sold my Nikon equipment for the Fuji XT-2. So many great features, but I really like being able to review the images just shot through the viewfinder on a sunny day instead of struggling with the glare of an LCD screen. I bought the Fuji 18-135 lens and I find that range covers all I need. I'm not sure if you'll be happy with the more limited range of that kit lens and may end upgrading. The X-T5 brings back the XT-2's tilt out screen.

Still stuck in those ephemeral “focus issues”. When was the last time you shot a Z9? Mine is great for BIF.

One suggestion if moving to Fuji. Consider something other than Adobe’s ACR as a raw converter (if you plan to shoot and process raw) Fuji’s XTrans sensor is different and requires different demosaicing than the Bayer array used in most other cameras. I found that Capture One made a BIG positive difference in my Fuji images compared to LR/PS.
