I'm having a blast with my canon r6, trying all sorts of photography....BIF, macros, low light stuff. For me, it's fun to be able to get shots that are not possible with my iphone. Phone cameras are so darn good these days and everyone with little or no experience can get snapshots that are remarkable...no high skill level required! Whatever type of photography that gets me out of the house, into nature and enjoying the day...learning new skills, slowing down, listening, watching....it's all good.
doing some butterfly closeups and wanted to try a little bit closer shots with my Canon 70-200mm f4 lens. Interested in extension tubes for Canon system. never used extension tubes before. I have the rf extenders but they do not work with the 70-200 lens. any suggestions? Should I stick with Canon extensions or are there other brands to consider?
I'm wanting to buy a used flash. Want to explore macro photography (especially insects). I've never bought a flash before. I've been following hedgehogs for about 4 months and I always seem to find a topic or two that is informative. Thank you.

Looking at RF24-240 and 24-105mm f4 if you have any of these which do you prefer. It says the the 24-240 is heavier then 24-105. looking for a walk around after I purchase my 100-500mm.
my walk around combo is the RF 70-200 F4 and the RF 35 mm 1.4 ....on an R6 body...they fit happily in a small peak design sling bag...it's been fun, lightweight and versatile. I'm not a professional but I sure like this combo...I'm looking forward to traveling with this nimble combo.
Just got back from Saturday morning Farmers Market! Strawberries were in abundance. Cheers.
yes, I like the versatility of these bags...thanks for pointing me in that direction.
Have recently purchased some new Canon gear including a Canon 600m lens which doesn't fit well in my hodge podge of camera bags ranging from an old Adorama Slinger bag to Peak design small bag that works well with some older Fuji gear. We lost our camera store in Santa Barbara (Samy's) which is where I would have gone to check out cam bags. So I'm at a loss as to where to look for camera bags. Nervous about buying a new bag on line but I guess that's my only alternative at present. There are so many choices! Some advice would be very helpful. Thank you.
I recently purchased some new Canon gear: EOS R6, 35mm F1.8, 600mm F11. Purchased from B&H. Was curious about Canon Care Pak. Would like some advice to help with my decision.
