I have been putting meat and meaty bones out for this red shoulder female hawk for about ten years. She is my no means tame but she comes when I call and during cold weather waits nearby in a tree for me.

Well, I had my hands full and the dog was wanting in the car so I laid my Fujifilm XT-4 with its 100-400mm lens on top of the car. I got everything secured and started driving away when I heard a funny noise on top of the car. I stopped and looked and gasp. My camera was still up there - I had forgotten it in the hustle & bustle of getting the dog and stool in the car. Was I lucky! I had not gone far enough on this residential road to get up speed or hit a pothole.

Happen to anyone else?

When I worked in Ballistics research we had fast tac film cameras good for about 16000 frames per second. The bullet leaves the barrel before the recoil lifts the muzzle.

It is a struggle to divide and repot them to prevent over crowding. Have you experimented with cross p[ollinating them and sowing the seeds?
