I just went on to B&H and the a7rlll is listed as $2798. And even on KEF a used item is listed as almost $2,000. Thanks for your input so I am going to reduce my asking to $1.900 to be more in line. I do want to emphasize that this is essentially a new camera and only taken out of the box to take about 50 test shots and then sat back in the box for roughly 4 months while I was trying to decide whether it made sense for me to keep such a high megapixel camera.

Reduced price of $1,700. A Sony a7lll 42mps full frame/mirrorless camera. Excellent++ condition.
Less than 100 test shots and less than 4 months old. Too much camera for me and I bot an a6600 APSC camera which is easier and lighter to use. This, like as new camera, with all the accessories that came with the camera. Camera sells new for $2,798 on B&H. I will sell it deeply discounted to $1,700. Will provide photos if interested. Contact via PM or direct using home phone (843) 707-9288.

No they aren't Grey. That is the current price for the new D850's . Someone was trying to tell me that the recent sale price is what you can still buy the camera for which was $2499. I wrote back that if you are buying the camera for $2499 it is probably a Grey market camera.

The last sale is the only one I ever remember. Right now the only new D850 you can buy would be an imported Grey Market camera.

People seem to be willing to pay $2,300 to $2,400 from other resellers where you can't be sure of prior handling. They also seem to be willing to accept scratches on the body. I m selling a new condition camera at a discounted price to reflect the excellent condition.

Still for sale a four month old but hardly used Nikon D850. It is one of the best DSLR cameras ever produced by Nikon even though I am not strong enough to hold the camera steady enough to avoid camera shake. There is probably only 50 shots taken with the camera all of which were decent but not "tack sharp". I paid $2995 and would like to sell for a reduced excellent like new condition of $2,400. I have all original packaging that came with camera, box,charger, battery, booklet, D850 Nikon strap cables, etc. A buyer will not be disappointed.

What does "PM" refer to. A regular email or a response within Ugly Hedgehog?

I agree. At my age it was a costly mistake.

I hope to sell it and pay down the loan.

I appreciate the suggestion but I have a tripod and a monopod but the camera and lens is heavy enough for me to carry around and means I am more stationary than I want. I also find that at my age it is much more difficult on a high pixel density camera to achieve tack sharp results even at having to raise the shutter speed to try and compensate.

Cant you return it?
No. I purchased it from a California authorized dealer trough Amazon and got interest free credit for 18 months. Because it was through my Amazon account I can't return to the dealer Because the return had to be within 30 days. I actually think I owe more on my credit account than the price I trying to sell the camera for.

I paid $2995 3 months ago from Nikon authorized dealer. I wanted a full frame DSLR that could still be used with all the exiting Nikon lenses and gear that I own. Because I am 82 years old and not in great health the camera and lens is too heavy for me to use hand held. Even with increasing shutter speed I can't avoid camera shake results. My friends in the camera club suggest using a tripod but that just increases the weight and gear I need to carry for casual photography. It was a mistake to buy a 45 mega pixel, full frame camera (no matter great the camera) at my age and ability and expect the camera to overcome my physical problems. I am looking to sell the camera for $2400 with $50 for shipping and insurance. The camera comes, as new, with original box, D850 strap, front cap, charger, battery manual. I think there have been less than 50 shutter activations. If need to discuss I can be reached by phone at (843) 707-9288 or email boblenore@gmail.com

Rick I recently bot a Nikon D850 (45.7 Pixels) and I am looking to sell because I am 82 and find it is too heavy and with long lens I can't shoot hand held and don't like lugging camera with tripod. If you want a D850 that has less than 200 shots and is less than 4 months new contact me for an excellent price. (843) 707-9288 or my gmail account at boblenore@gmail
