Agree completely. You do have to know what you're doing buying there, but I agree with @AndyH that eBay errs on the side of the buyer.
Several good experiences with UsedPhotoPro/Roberts. KEH is kind of the "standard," I'll agree, but I am consistently annoyed by the fact that they never post pictures of the actual item. I'll defer to more experienced buyers from Japanese eBay sellers; I've found their prices to be a nick above those of US sellers, especially if you encounter import duties (others can confirm that such a thing happens).
