An old adage in business is that you make more money buying than selling. Realistically, even $500 for that lense is a travisty.
I have a Canon 9000. Perfect shape. All accessories.

I have a classic Minolta 35 mm. The internal light meter cannot be repaired. I’m in search of a simple yet reliable used hand held meter.
This is something that might work for you. AstrHori AH-M1 Light Meter, OLED Real-time Metering, Wide Range of ISO/F/Shutter Value Display, with Adjustable Cold Shoe Position to Work with More Old Cameras
It's for sale on Amazon. I just bought one for an old camera of mine.
Depending on which classic Minolta you have, I have a SRT101 and SRT102 fully functional that I could sell at a price probably lower than any new light meter option you may find.
Good luck. I've alway loved Minoltas.

I don't think you mentioned a price?

Perhaps you should consider a Century Graphic 2-1/4 X 3-1/4. They are older cameras, I think the newest are from the 1960's. I've used them and they take great pictures. Film holders are available from sheet film (yes sheet film is still available), 6/6, 6/7 and 6/9 interchangeable roll holders (120 not 620). They have front swings and tilts; the front standard raises and lowers and the bed drops. Lenses are interchangeable. It does not have a light meter. This is a photographer's camera; you have to make all the adjustments yourself... there is no one to blame for poor results.
I have one that I would sell. It has a Tessar/Compur f2.8 lens and shutter. Works perfectly, recently had it CLAed. Bellows are sound, no light leaks. Comes with Roll Holders, Sheet Film Holders, an OEM grip with a shutter release cable and a Ground Glass Back. Crown Graphics are a camera anyone getting into photography can learn a lot from, I did...
If you're interested, I can send you some photos.

I thought it meant that it had a dent...

Is it a USA Lens? By the way what is "Bump"?
I think we may be able to work this out. Since this is major undertaking, I'd like to see the lens after it returns from Nikon. I live in NE Ohio and would probably drive up to see the lens. If we want to go forward, I could Paypal you on the spot. If your agreeable we can complete the transaction.
I noticed you have the lens hanging from a Z9. Are you happy with the results and if you are why do you want to part with the lens?
I would intend to hang it from my Z9 so the question is important. I'm in a transistion phase to mirrorless. I'm really not sold on all new glass. I have several (many) F mounts, some superb and they seem to work very well with the Z9. My back up is a D850 and once you go Z you can't go back. I have and F4 and F5 that I use every once in a while just for old time sake. Same issue.
Let me know when the lens is back and we can see if we can get together.

I see them online from $7,800 to $12k. I’m reasonable and would like to sell. I think a reasonable price is around $7,500 ballpark.
I was wonder when you are expection to get it back from Nikon? I do have one other question. You stated that it was used very little. I just wanted to know if there was an issues that made you think it needed service? Let me know, I am interested.

I have a mint F2AS you may be interested in.
I just came across your post regarding a F2AS. If you still have it and want to sell let me know. I need to know the condition, the model of the viewfinder and the overall condition. Photos would help

My post dealt with buying not selling. If you don't mind no warranty with the benefit of not having to wait six month then $5500 is a great deal.
I don’t know if any has noticed but Z9s are listed on EBay for $6000 to $7000. Someone should carefully look into this.
