Long story, sent to KEH, who after inspecting this lens, which I say is excellent, changed their offer from $515 to $355. No explanation when I asked, so I had them return it. It will be available here for 3 days at $500, delivered in the lower 48. Then off to B&H.

Try MPB, I’ve used them many times to sell my gear and they have been nearly spot on with their quotes.

Although I have great respect for items sold by KEH and feel they give you a better product than they advertise, like a lens advertised as excellent, comes looking like excellent +. I do feel they are not very generous in what they pay for items so maybe that is why they can be extra nice on the selling end. Also, when you sent in your 300 they may have had one or none on hand and suddenly they acquired five or six. If there is a glut of an item, it usually means the price will drop.

An old adage in business is that you make more money buying than selling. Realistically, even $500 for that lense is a travisty.
