A month or two ago we received a case of Professional TP.
Does anyone have a clue what Professional TP really means?
The baby racoon happened to be climbing in a tree in the back yard.

Have fun in the New Year

Nice shot. I have taken a "few" photos at MN Zoo. Catching Haines at the water, and not getting any of the plexiglass distortion or hand prints in between you and Haines is rare indeed. WELL DONE!

Lets see more.

Thank you for the nice comments. Makes me want to post some more Zoo portraits and wild animal photos.

This is a Zoo photo of a Gibbon female, mostly a portrait.
I recently did a different crop of this image...I like the close up better.
Gibbons are interesting, the males have black fur, and females have white or light tan fur.

Minnesnowta is a great place for Winter photos. Animals, landscapes, waterfalls, trees with Hoar Frost. If only it wasn't so darn COLD, for so darn long.

These are a few photos of a friends Shepard puppy. Josey's ears finally did stand up, but she was cute with the floppy ears. Enjoy.

Fun images, I like. I'm a big fan of the 10.5 mm Fish Eye lens.

I really like the Kit Fox shots, especially the "back lit and side lit" shots. Was that sun-down or sun-set?
Lovely images!

Not me. I have camera straps (UpStrap) on all of my cameras, except the 4x5s.

I'm a big fan of UpStrap camera straps especially when traveling. I always remove the bright yellow NIKON straps, as it is just a advertisement for thieves.
A few months a go my UpStraps were not as grippy as they used to be. UpStrap said they can loose some of their grippiness after a few years, and they recommended replacing them. I did and could not be happier. They simply work!

These and the ones that followed on the 2nd and 3rd page are wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing with us ♥

Thank you. WOW, I love your K9 photos. My skill with my pup over years has not been great, but they have always been great companions and buddies.

Most of this series is from the Minnesota Zoo. There are few from a semi-private Zoo in Northern Calif. Someone in No. Calif. should know the name? I'm getting old and do not remember the name.
"Look Mom, no fences or bar". It can be done.

I often wondered about that, if a person has to handle the chicks without wearing gloves, wouldn't the mother abandon the nest because of human scent?

I'm not a bird or Peregrine expert. That said, I think "Mother Peregrine" just want her chicks back, she has a lot of time and effort invested in these little chicks. The time involved by the banding team is surprisingly short, and everyone is reunited.

I find all photos of zoo animals to be depressing but that second photo I find even more depressing. Wonder what that mother and child are thinking of.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The Minnesota Zoo is about 50 years old. One of their original goals was to build exhibits with animals in their habitat, or as close as can be expected considering Minnesota Winters. Regarding Snow Monkeys, they probably live 2 maybe 3 times longer at the Zoo that in the wild. The have plenty of space to swim, climb and play.......best part there are no animals that want to invite them to lunch or dinner......as the mail course.
