I would love to be able to say that I caught this guy out in the desert... but that would be untrue. The best thing about these photos are that I used an old 6 mega pixel camera, the first Canon DSLR, and an old $35 manual lens to shoot them with.

Great shots and looks to be in the desert..

My granddaughter was at our house the other day and we were looking at some photos of her that I had taken over the past few years... she saw this one photo of her and said that she can't wait until Christmas time when all of the decorations are up... she likes the villages that my better-half decorates the fireplace mantle and surrounding book cases with... and most of all she is so anxious for Christmas day when we all gather around the Christmas tree and open our presents one and all...

It might be a little early but what the heck... best wishes and may all your wishes come true during the upcoming holiday seasons...

The 8-year-old little boy who lives at that farm came running out to tell me he was "a good picture-taker" and he volunteered to go into the barn to get the white horse and some chickens. I gave my camera to him and let him go! The first 2 shots are his. And I just had to put a couple in of the birthday girl! :)

He did a good job with the pictures...

I'm probably boring everyone to tears; but I did work on two more black and white photos that I took close to my house. I like the textures in the first shot and I tried to play around with vignette and selective lighting in the second shot.

Love the first shot, as you say great textures.

Yesterday, I went to our local reservoir to an in-flight photography day! I loved it and thought I would share some photos of the gorgeous birds I was lucky enough to meet. I hope you like them!

We were in awe walking around Bryce fabulous vistas everywhere. The elevation is 8,000ft which caused me a problem but it was worth it. Hope you enjoy our visit here.

Wow! This was a beautiful shot to start with, but this is really stunning, Val. This looks exactly like it's supposed to look.. a painting. Thanks for the info on the spill slider. I'll check it out and hopefully wipe up all my spills. :-D Val, I haven't tried it out with this program, but Topaz Clarity would probably do the same to bring out details as Topaz Detail.

Thank you very much Donna, it was taken at Perranporth a beach local to me. Although this picture was in focus it would not have mattered if it was slightly out. I will have to think about getting more Topaz programs..

That is the question

Using one of these for my Advertising, your input would be helpful

I too vote for the smile as it makes you more approachable, but with the camera in focus....
