Not so fast there Mondolinni. You CAN get a Nikon 10-20 at a very reasonable price. Here you go, https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1341603-REG/nikon_20067_af_p_dx_nikkor_10_20mm.html?sts=pi

Thank you for pointing that lens out. For a DX user that is a reasonable priced lens. Good find.

Nikon D500 user. Lots of them parks here. I live near Orlando.

Normally I take my 18-200 lens and if I have room my 35mm 1.8.

The last time I went to Sea World I took an 80-400 with taking shots of birds but the 80mm gave me nice pictures in general. Of course I had my trusty inexpsive 35mm as well.

Sometimes I go light. Take a Sony a6000 with the 16-50 lens but bring the 55-210 lens as well. Nice light convenient little camera.

Going to a local resort this weekend so trying to decide which rig to bring. LOL, might bring booth plus my 200-500 Nikon in case I decide to wake up before sun rise and visit a bear by wet land. Thank god for camera cases. LOL

If you want to stay under $2600 go for the Nikon D500 or a refurbished D810. I'd like the new Nikon D850.

But being a Canon person. 80D seems like a nice camera or one if their full frames.

Consider purchasing a factory refurbish body. You can save at least 20%.

My friend has an iPad and wishes to transfer photgraphs from her camera to the iPod.
I am an Android phone user so I haven't a clue, what advice can I give my friend on how to do this.
Thanks in advance.

She can use the apple LB to SD cars adaptor.

Before you spend any money download the View-NX at the Nikon website. It is made for Nikon users and will do most if not all you need to do and is free to use. Check it out. If it meets your needs you have found your solution.

Thank you for the tip. I just downloaded VIEW-NX to my MBP and am playing with it. Very simple to use. I do use LR and not PS and have a lot to learn but I think for a fast edit and convert to JPEG Nikon VIEW-NX might come in handy...

Try resetting the camera to factory specs. I've had a few similar issues with a couple cameras, reset to factory, prob solved.

TDhanks mate, that is what I did and it worked. Kind of happy about it now due to I refreshed all my settings...

Sounds like you had the shutter set at 1/8000 where it would properly stay in manual and shutter priority modes. You were trying to change it by turning the aperture dial.

TRue but also tried the the shutter dial. But all good things to look over for the future. Happy I had dto reset the camera. Gave me a chance to start fresh. Have lots to learn.

Seems like the OP needs to reset his understanding of basic exposure controls, such as the difference between shutter speed and f stop. 😂

Yup, I was waiting for someone to mention this. LOL

I'm trying to make it simple to send an image to Snapbridge with my D500 but having trouble figuring out quick setting set up. I have tried to find this setup option but can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks, I have it set up as well. Snapbridge is a pain to set up but once activated seems to work fine. Most of the time I'm in airplane mode to conserve battery.

OK my bad. I reset the camera and now it works. I need to figure out what I did wrong. The Shutter than was stock at 1/8000 in M and S mode but A mode I could make adjustments. Thank you,
