Great photos! Does anyone know why UHH doesn't have a Wildlife Section?
Beautiful! Snow can add that special touch.
Awesome photo Vicki ! The detail and color are beautiful. Hope everyone downloads it to fully appreciate your shot.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
Woke up this morning to many replies. Thanks to everyone for your comments and glad you enjoyed the wolves.
Thanks Janos - Shots you can't get in the wild.
The wolf's name is Kaskapahtew. A male born in captivity in Canada and raised by his pack. He now lives at the Detroit Zoo in a large two-acre habitat with a female. If you choose to download the images, notice his penetrating gaze, classic for a wolf. Olympus E-M10 III, M. Zuiko 75-300mm II. Both images were taken at 600mm equiv. and handheld. Out of camera with minor cropping only.

He is laying in the grass in front of a cave. The black background is simply the cave entrance.

Both really nice, but I particularly like the green heron. Sharp and the colors are beautiful.
Beautiful photo! Bobcats are generally very shy. How close were you able to get and what was the lens focal length? The tack sharp face really pops nicely from the rest of the photo. Like it! Like it!

Beautiful! Agree with above to click store original so we can download. Would love to see in full detail.
Pat - When you download the image there is a little magnifying glass in the photo with a + sign. Move and
click it for a digital crop to check detail and sharpness. On your photos it hardly moved the needle for some reason. Try it on photos from someone else. Really liked you photos though.
Nice photo and gutsy on your part. That's the first photo I've ever seen of a paper wasp nest and wasp up close. They are amazing structures.
