Another comparison: Electric cars are the future of automobiles, but they can't provide the visceral thrill of driving a gas-powered muscle car. Don't believe me, then look at all the people still attending NHRA drag races. They ain't there for the whine of electrics.
Doing BW, E3, E6, C41, C-prints and Ciba all I recall is decades of nasty substances, tedious clean ups, expensive perishable materials, and acoarst all that darkness ... but no magic.
just truly enjoyed the whole process of developing and printing. Set up a home darkroom and still enjoy time spent there. Love the smell of the chemicals and the magic of watching an image appear in the developer tray.

I miss the quiet peacefulness of creating images the old fashioned way in my darkroom. I agree about the magic of that process.
Sorry, the film was stored at room temperature in original plastic cans; no expiration dates available. Plus the film is free, to whoever wants to buy the camera combo.
Thanks to everyone for their comments. I'd like to sell the Nikon FM along with a Nikon MD-11 motor drive. I'll toss in 4 rolls of Fujicolor Superia color print film (ASA 200 and 800), which can be developed in C-41 chemicals.
