I bought four and they are sitting in a box someplace with a lot more unused camera equipment.
They sounded like a great idea, but I had to use two hands to get them onto the lens. I like the pinch lens caps, easy off, easy on. Also the regular caps fit into my pocket easily when I start shooting. The rubber ones are too bulky for my taste. Good luck, they may work for your needs.

One way would be to take the auto road to the summit (always fun). Once at the summit you can hike down to get awesome photos of the train as it comes up the mountain. There are many vantage points near and far for those shots. Whatever way you choose, don't pass it up! Enjoy your trip, there's no place like it.
I buy from Golden State Art on eBay, they have great service and pretty good pricing on mats, backing boards, and even plastic envelopes if you're interested in selling some of your work locally.
